I got an nice idea of just going for a huge pop-
orchestra sound sprinkled up with funk.

The first thing that came to me was the piano-riff
with the octave bass in the intro, that does an ascending chord figure with the bass and the string-ensemble - for that real heavy feel you get from ballads.

That felt from the beginning as the to-go foundation
for the chorus as well, topped with a whailing lead
for more of that mighty ballad feel, but at the same
time embracing the funky feel brought by the
swingin' rhythm.

The rest is just tinkering with jazzy chords and licks,
gluing the piece together smoothly into a somewhat
radix-reminescent sound (radix is a popular musician
in the tracker scene).

This took 4 days in total to make, day 1 & 2 for
composing, day 3 for the finishing touches, a week
off, then a 4th day for a final playback check before
submission.

The track features a lot of configuration exclusive to
the GS MIDI-synthesizers such as pitch-modification
to individual drum-sounds in the same MIDI-channel
without the use of pitch-bend, detailed modification
of the internal system-effects, instrument-layers by
rerouting MIDI-channel reception, etc.
