Hot-stepping into the disco jungle, Hot Gorilla is a joint project between Conan The Selector and Andy Buchan (Andy is still working on his cool DJ alias name…!) With hundreds of releases between them and years of DJing together, they’ve come together under the Hot Gorilla guise for some serious monkey business.
Launched in 2020, the label blurs the lines between disco, funk, house and reworked edits, and comes at you with one aim and one aim only - to make you go bananas on the dancefloor.

Goz & Boogietraxx - Spin City Vol 145

Black Light Disco sashayed back to the MyHouse Radio airwaves on Monday 27th July 2020 with an all residents show which oozed class from every disco valve and outlet.

Starting the proceedings we had BLD resident, Spin City head honcho and super-talented tune wrangler, Goz, who delivered a set that was like walking in a velvet pair of slippers across a carpet of clouds. This is Goz at his very best - taking the listener on a sonic journey through lower tempo, hazy grooves that warm the soul.

For the second hour, Goz's partner in crime Ste H (aka Esteban) ups the tempo a notch, showcasing some jazz-infused funky joints along with some harder-edged disco sounds and beats. The two sets compliment each other massively and the end result is two hours of sublime music from some of the hottest producers and labels out there right now.
