This week welcomes none other than the head honcho of Super Spicy Records; Monsieur Van Pratt. 

A self taught musician, producer and DJ hailing from México, who mixes grooves from late seventies disco, eighties funk and the rhythms of jazz. He’s become a household name in nu disco and was labelled one of Traxsource's Top 100 Nu-Disco artists of 2019. 

He has performed across Mexico in several cities, clubs, parties and stages, having the chance to share moments with major names in the music industry such as James Richardson (MGMT), Thris Tian (Boiler Room), Jupiter, Thieves Like Us, Vagabundo Club Social, Hotmood, The Funk District, Mike Simonetti, Gledd, Clubz, Shiro Schwarz, and so many more.

Spa In Disco - Artist 092 - TANORI - Mix series

This week's Spin City Show that aired on myhouseradio.fm 1st August 2021 saw the return of our incredible resident Wahine on hosting duties. For her set, she used a live recording from one of her recent gigs in Atlanta, Georgia. As you would expect, this is another knock-out hour of high-class music. 

For the second hour of the show, Wahine passed the baton over to her guest from the south of France, Alex Visciglio AKA VIGI --an incredibly talented DJ/Producer whose first album, "Rhodes Island" (released late last year on NDYD ) made a huge impression on top taste-makers in the scene. From downtempo to deep house to disco, VIGI's productions are equal parts polished and soulful. This mix was oozing quality from start to end from a guy at the top of his game. This week’s special guest is Greg Cosford, a talented DJ from the UK. He first starting DJing in 2001, and was a quick learner, winning a DJ competition only a year later. He has played at numerous parties and events around London as well as having the opportunity the perform sets in Amsterdam and Australia.

More recently he became a resident DJ with Empty Plate Radio, an underground radio station based out of Miami that promotes music across a range of genres. His dancefloor-friendly mixes incorporate elements of funk, jazz, disco and house, and always keeps the feel good vibes alive!
