José Luis Seguel Quezada, conocido musicalmente como Statickman, Productor musical de Indie Dance, Electro y Nu disco, nacido en Concepción (Chile), actualmente con domicilio en Santiago.

Define su música como un viaje a través del tiempo que realiza una conexión con la vanguardia, visto desde un punto de vista Retro, al más fiel estilo de la ciencia ficción.

Más de 15 años experimentando y plasmando sus ideas basadas en la peregrinación e idolatría a grandes maestros como Giorgio Moroder, Patrick Cowley, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Front 242, Jean Michell Jarre, sumado a la diversidad musical de los años 70, 80 y 90.

Su finalidad es crear música innovadora que tenga la particularidad para el auditor, de ser un track que conocía de antes, que suene a recuerdos, creando un romance con la danza y el carisma de sonidos de antaño.

José Luis Seguel Quezada, known musically as Statickman, Indie Dance, Electro and Nu disco music producer born in Concepción (Chile), currently living in Santiago (Capital City, Chile).

He defines his music as a journey through time in which he makes a connection to modern music, as seen from a retro point of view, the truest style of science fiction.

Over 15 years experimenting and translating his ideas based on the pilgrimage and idolatry to great masters like Giorgio Moroder, Patrick Cowley, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Front 242, Jean Michell Jarre, plus the musical diversity of the 70, 80 and 90 .

Its purpose is to create innovative music that has the particularity to the auditor from a track you probably knew before, which sounds to memories, creating a romance with dance and charisma sounds of yesteryear.

GOBY began his career as a DJ in the early 90s, inspiring the audience with the sound of vinyl in one of the biggest Bulgarian nightclubs such as Spartacus, Chervilo, All Saints, Primo and many others with varying style of R&B, Soul, Garage, Disco, House.
As a part of the duo '2F-DJs Project' won several national DJ-competitions for club music and DMC technique.
His style is heavily influenced by Disco and Soulful House.
After a long interruption from year 2015 he is back on deck to spread best of NuDisco and House music worldwide.

Nowadays GOBY is part of Spa In Disco (Spain) and Thunder Jam Records (Israel) and collaborates with artists and record labels such as Rare Wiri Records, Masterworks Music, Golden Soul Records, Good Stuff Recordings, About Disco Records , Karmic Power Records, James Rod, Fran Deeper, Rayko, VinylAddicted, Slync, JM Brothers, Paul Goodyear (SanFranDisko), Rafael Cancian, Disco Funk Spinner, Lenny Fontana and many others.
GOBY's mixes are broadcasted and supported by Dynamic Radio (France), KNDJ Radio (Spain), Groovefinder (Germany), SliceoflifeSOL (London, Ibiza)...

In addition to that, he worked on a project to edit/remix music in electronic genres.
