Michael Franks is one of the most prolific musicians of the Californian Westcoast/Jazz/AOR/Yacht scene, the one and only Michael Franks, who approved personally the new version. Over the languorous course of 33 years and 16 albums, Michael Franks has mesmerized an international legion of fans with his one-of-a-kind artistry. Seamlessly weaving lyrics of stunning sensuality, wit, reflection and literary eloquence over music that tastefully utilizes top shelf shadings of jazz, soul, pop, chamber and music from around the globe. His music was covered by countless international stars, like The Carpenters, Shirley Bassey, Ringo Star, Natalie Cole, a.m.m. . His music lives on and is loved by so many modern Balearic/Soft Disco musicians/producers from today.

JACK TENNIS: 
Berlin producer Jack Tennis is the mastermind behind a lot of projects. He releases his own music under the name Hotlane (signed to Gomma Records) and spreads his Disco-Edits for UK’s influential Disco Label Midnight Riot (run by Yam Who!), Spa In Disco and Too SLow To Disco. He has an edit on every TSTD YACHT DISCO EDITS compiatlion so far, he was already part of TSTD EDITS 2 – Brasil with an edit, and last year he remixed SATIN JACKETS for TSTD NEO’s “The Sunset Manifesto” - compilation. Also check out his 10" EP TSTDEDITS09 he did for us some time ago.

Citizens of Vice's ongoing 'Label Love' series seeks to shine a light on overlooked and criminally underplayed gems nestling in the imprint's bulging back catalogue. Here they present a second set of top-tier remixes - those that, for one reason or another, have not had the love they deserve. Secret Soul Society get things underway with a simply gorgeous, sun-bright, afternoon-ready neo-Balearic revision of Bonnie & Klein's 'Bourbon Street', before the 'Mass Density Human Sunrise' take on MAKS' 'North' brilliantly blurs the boundaries between breakbeat-driven acid sleaze and picturesque dreaminess. Elsewhere, Gus Patterson delivers a kaleidoscopic, Italo-disco-influenced nu-disco spin on Andy Buchan's 'Piano Hands', Bucan delivers a string-drenched organic nu-disco makeover of Lanowa's 'Feels Like Love', and Bal 5000 reinvents Patterson's 'Montelbano' is a deep, Italo-influenced electro shuffler.
