From the start, 'Temple of Light (https://soundcloud.com/commuter Remix)’ provides high energy, electrostatics and hyper-realistic experience in your mind. Analog rhythms, atmospheres (similar sounds you could hear in the 'Duran Duran’ 1st album)  and unconventional dance electronics here. Great remix from italo to wave, EBM to electro. French DJ and producer Laurent Paranthoën aka Commuter not a beginner and his works always great. With narratives woven into electro and EBM tracks, these samples form an intimate and eerie narrative—one that captures the restless search for answers in love, heartbreak, and fate.
 
Across Prophecy and Fate Decoder, fragmented voices echo the universal longing to understand the unknowable. Advice from a seasoned psychic provides a forewarning, while a tarot reader discusses queer relationships. A voice asks, “This is like a spiritual sort of energy… have you already met this person?” Another pleads for clarity: “I feel like I’ve experienced a death, but we were never together.”
 
At its core, The Psychic Tapes explores the human need to grasp at meaning when there’s nothing tangible to hold onto.
