J.P Gutter A.K.S Lindon D. James was born in S.e London on the eight of April 1966 on Good Friday to pearline Simms and Douglas James the last child in his family. From an early age, he showed a liking for music and the arts in school. Went to school with the like as maxi and the Saxon sound crew that where from the same nabour hood He was a part of the drama club, sang in the school choir that was part of the greater London schoolboys choir that song for the queen. That’s where here found he had talent for singing which grow in to a love of it where he started singing all kind of music from rock to soul and then he found dance hall music and found that was the kind of music he wonted to sing. In 1979 he moved to USA where he started to sing in the local dance halls on sound make in a name for him self from the age of 13 winning must of the local Dj talent shows in his local area from 1980 till 1990. Where he started working with local bands like the Lighting band respect due band. In addition to working with a producer from the chain gang record group. By the name of Owen Flynn. Whom he still works with closely and at the tape works studio with bill. Then going to school to learn about the in's an out of music and studio work, this is where he came up with his own sound which has made a mark with making the music.
