My new setup works well! I composed a nice dubtechno pattern on the Analog Rytm during the past weekend and layered some arps and drones coming from the Solar 42f. That's actually a nice way of pairing these two machines! The Solar Audio is routed into the Analog Rytm which makes it a nice dawless setup for my summer events. The Analog Rytm is syncing the Solar Arps with a MIDI cable that splits the clock signal apart.

Studio sessions - semi-live music from my studio.

I've started experimenting with a more immediate approach to creating music. Having set up my synths in Arpeggiator (arp) mode, cycles them through an input-sequence of notes. In short, they automatically loop through a melody. This allows a quick iteration of layered soundscapes and playing over the top. It's a more immediate approach to sourcing synth- and field recordings for post-processing.

The recordings are presented as video on You Tube and available as free-downloads on this bandcamp page... but with a catch!  Whenever a new video is uploaded the media on this page is replaced and the old track can no longer be downloaded (but you can download the new one again). 

Replacing the media however means that bandcamp won't send you an alert.
