We back with more recordings from the Four Elements Campout this past summer. This time it's a blazing set from @djskinnyfat on Friday night. Once he lit the match, the rest of the night was straight fire. Enjoy the mix!

"I got to play a main stage, earylish set at Unison Campout this year. I tried to recreate a special wow moment from the year before when listening to Nurse Noise giving everyone (and me!!) bass face but in my own bouncy style. I think I hit that stride about mid set! You be the judge."

The track has vocals, triangle, and cowbell from the original, lifted up on a deep warm 808 bass line with acid rolls and stabs all around. Come for the energetic and playful kick + bass interplay, stay for the acid groove and orchestral chorus.

Without further delay, I’m proud to share with you my much requested set from Breakfast of Champion + It’s A New Day on New Year’s Day 2024!  I would have loved to share my live recording but due to a technical difficulty, I had to recreate the magic in a studio mix. It was amazing to kick off the new year with joy, love and hope rocking my set on the Heavy Petting Zoo stage to a sea of party people and all my friends up on stage. The highlight was debuting the track that DJ Denise and I produced at the top of my set. It’s always one of my favorite events of the year and this year was no exception. Live at Breakfast of Champions + It's A New Day 2024

On this weeks episode of the RIPEcast we are paying tribute to a dear friend and fellow Space Cowboy PK, who recently lost his battle with brain cancer.  Ben Anderson is dishing out a sweet mix of bass, breaks, and house to honor his memory and get your booty shakin’ the way that PK would have demanded it to. Here are a few words from Ben Anderson about this mix:

“This one is dedicated to Peter Kimelman aka PK. Tomorrow it will be 17 years exactly since he had his first surgery. He woke up saying he felt like he got hit by a mack truck. He had to re-learn how to walk, but he did it. Dude did it for 17 years. Recording this RIPEcast has been my dance therapy since his passing. Hope y’all dig it.”

Mvzzik is the musical alter ego of Dutch born Dj & Producer Frank van Rooijen. With a Gold Record and a Silver Record to his name, this Internationally acclaimed producer topped the worldwide charts as one half of the producers' duo behind one of the biggest club anthems ever - Lock 'n Loads' "Blow ya Mind". Frank's talent as producer and remixer has resulted in over 180 music productions spanning various music genres and has even led him to do an official remix for Queen's Freddie Mercury which has been released on Parlophone Records as well as an official remix for legendary 80's band Bronski Beat.
