We back with more recordings from the Four Elements Campout this past summer. This time it's a blazing set from @djskinnyfat on Friday night. Once he lit the match, the rest of the night was straight fire. Enjoy the mix!

"I got to play a main stage, earylish set at Unison Campout this year. I tried to recreate a special wow moment from the year before when listening to Nurse Noise giving everyone (and me!!) bass face but in my own bouncy style. I think I hit that stride about mid set! You be the judge."

Without further delay, I’m proud to share with you my much requested set from Breakfast of Champion + It’s A New Day on New Year’s Day 2024!  I would have loved to share my live recording but due to a technical difficulty, I had to recreate the magic in a studio mix. It was amazing to kick off the new year with joy, love and hope rocking my set on the Heavy Petting Zoo stage to a sea of party people and all my friends up on stage. The highlight was debuting the track that DJ Denise and I produced at the top of my set. It’s always one of my favorite events of the year and this year was no exception. Live at Breakfast of Champions + It's A New Day 2024

On this weeks episode of the Space Cowboys RIPEcast, we are featuring a special guest mix from San Francisco Bay Area local favorite and member of the infamous Airpusher Collective, Cptn Jay.   Here are a few words from the man himself about this guest mix:

“Where do breaks, techno, and tech house crossover? What can Germany teach us about Detroit? What kind of Dirty Birds fly to Ibiza? Can something be both tasteful and dirty? And what snyth doesn’t sound better with a dirty break under it??

My goal was to use the incredible honor of being included on Ripe Cast to play with genres and paint a different kind of picture. I wove a few of my all time favorite breaks tracks together with some new techno hotness, and mashed up others into genre bending behemoths.  The set overall has notes of bouncy, funky, dark, spacious, and, most importantly, smashing. You gotta smash on the Ripe Cast.

This set was so fun to make! Thank you so much, Space Cowboys, for the platform and opportunity. I truly appreciate it and hope all y’all enjoy the music!”

Mvzzik is the musical alter ego of Dutch born Dj & Producer Frank van Rooijen.
