High Focus Records was established in 2010 to offer a platform for a new generation of rappers and producers in the UK. 

Twelve years on and nearly 200 releases later, our mission statement remains the same; to champion the most forward-thinking artists, with a key focus on strengthening the pillars that continue to unify the scene to this day (and beyond).

Dan Ghenacia returns alongside his closest allies Dyed Soundorom and Shonky to launch their new imprint - Apollonia    
 
Sharing the same musical roots, tastes and creative vision, Apollonia was a natural, if not inevitable progression for Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky. The label will serve as a platform for the trio's productions, representing new beginnings based on a solid family that have already done much to shape the underground house scene, in Paris and beyond. "We'll mainly focus on releasing our own music, but of course we are also really open-minded to sign any producers we all enjoy," says Dyed..

Duo consisting of Sam Archer & Ryan Fisher 

Ryan Fisher started his musical journey when he attended his first UK rave at the very first Pure Dance event at the Brighton Centre in 1989. This started the passion he has for underground dance music. 

In 1993 he bought his first set of Technic 1200’s. In the years to follow he would DJ playing Jungle and Drum & Bass at events across the south coast of England. 

After feeling the buzz from playing to a crowd he then decided to try his hand at music production. His first investment in studio gear was a Yamaha keyboard, a PC and an Akai sampler. Being self taught over many years he refined his skill. This was the beginning of his first releases on vinyl for many Hard House and Hard Dance labels including Tripoli Trax, Energy UK and Vicious Circle under the name Wardman & Fisher. 

In the following years he was one of the 4 DJ/Promoters of a regular club night called Wired in Portsmouth that had a large following and gave him the opportunity to club test his new house and techno productions.

Using all his knowledge and experience that he has gained over the years he has now started 3 new projects which include “Chardan Kal” which has had releases on Vandalism, Alboratory and Quanticman, “Raw Constant” which has had releases on Leone Music, Tip Tap Records and Diferit Limited, and Continue=High with Sam Archer. 

Continue=High have had releases on Innocent Music, Serkal and will soon have releases on Tip Tap Records and Early Morning Music. 

Sam Archer began his journey at the young age of just 15 in his hometown of Portsmouth. He fell in love with house and techno music after going to see Mauro Picotto. He started going to clubs such as Slinky & Maison in Bournemouth most weekends. 

At 17 he bought his first pair of technic 1210’s and started djing, as the music was evolving Sam was quickly moved by this new sound and started buying minimal techno and tech house records and began travelling up to the End Club in London and dc10 in Ibiza for inspiration. 

It was round 2007 when he partnered up with a friend James Wilkinson to become Team Tony making there own tracks for labels such as Sonat records, Minimo, My Dust as well as their own party nights in Portsmouth called Tenko. They were asked to play for Punchfunk and Amplified at their parties and became monthly residents for both. 

In 2009 they were noticed at a Punchfunk party at Junk club in Southampton and ended up becoming residents for MR C’s infamous techno night Superfreq for two years. Sam then carried on to dj on his own playing at boat parties and other events. 

Sam then went to Ibiza and did two seasons in 2011 and 2012, he was very quickly noticed and asked to become a resident at Departure Workers party and also after parties for Luciano’s Cadenza party and some great other parties alongside well known dj’s.

Continue=High are a duo consisting of Ryan Fisher and Sam Archer. They are long time friends that have experienced all aspects of the club scene in the UK for the past 20 years. Combining this knowledge they have come together to produce their vision of underground house and pride them in keeping their style fresh, solid and unique as they continue on to make their underground sounds.

Todd Edwards created an innovative blend of rhythmic, cut-and-paste vocal samples, rubbery baselines and slapping percussion that helped propel Britain's Sunday club scene into the genuine phenomenon of Speed Garage.
