What I Remember (Mandela Effect) - Parallax Remix

Check out this new track we just finished mixing a few weeks ago!  The song itself was written and recorded a couple of years ago.  The lyrics and melody for the chorus was written along with the rest of the song and its chord progressions initially on the acoustic guitar.  It was then sequenced to the 808's, and then we finally jammed over it with synths, percussion, and the rest of the vocals.   Barry Fontenot wrote the lyrics for the verse sections, and is the featured vocalist on the track.

Old school funk inspirations recast in a futuristic way, with a bass-centric groove and laced out with synths, delay-laden guitars, plenty of real drums, programmed drums, and shakers, this track gets better as it goes, revealing a beautifully contrasting bridge with jazz-inspired chord progressions, and finally ending with a hypnotic and infectious coda.
