Correspondant proudly presents Jordan Nocturne’s new EP, Nostalgia. Born and raised in Belfast, this DJ, label manager, producer and promoter has been an active member of the local scene since his teenage years. Still drawing from the trance classics he heard on TV as a kid, he now delivers a euphoria-inducing two-track release. Carrying high-energy realness, Nostalgia lives up to its name by paying tribute to old-school, sweaty rave nights. Eponymous track « Nostalgia » seduces with a 90’s club flavour, weaving together airy synths and percussive kicks. « Acid Rise » builds up a steady tension thanks to brazen acid lines, incisive bass and a sharp vocal sample. Hand in hand, these two tracks make for the ultimate peak-time club arsenal. Closing up the project is a clever UKG-oriented remix by Kyle Starkley. Liverpool-based producer kicks it up a notch, playfully reworking the voice hooks and synths.
