The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Arude for his first appearance. As a fixture of the electronic underground for the better part of a decade, Ukrainian artist Arude is perhaps best known for his twenty-plus appearances on long-standing Berlin imprint Steyoyoke. It was this creative swell which set the stage for more recent projects via Beatfreak, Eklektisch, Radikon and Renaissance, all of which have been ideal landing spots for his elusive sound. An in-demand remixer for sometime, it was earlier this year that Arude took to re-interpreting ‘The Sound of Violence’ by French electro duo Cassius. Originally released in 2002 via Virgin Records and highlighted by vocals from Steve Edwards, the dancefloor anthem has the distinction of being the duo’s only track to reach #1 in the hugely influential Billboard Music Charts. We’re happy to offer his take on this timeless anthem as a free download. Enjoy.

To say Eli & Dani are quickly becoming an industry powerhouse would be an understatement. 

When the pair heard The Weeknd's blockbuster hit 'Nothing Is Lost' they soon realised the potential a remix could have. Before they knew it, the duo had produced a version that would go on to wreak havoc in their DJ sets. As is often the case with distinctive renditions of popular tracks, it didn't take long before their remix would become somewhat of a secret weapon. The pair would constantly get asked about the track and when it would see the light of day. As one of Serbia’s top electronic music exports, Space Motion has delighted fans with his floor filling, hands in the air productions. As a regular at the top of Beatport’s sales charts, the Novi Sad resident continues to earn praise from the scene’s premiere tastemakers in Pete Tong, Solomun, Black Coffee, Tiesto, David Guetta, Hardwell and more. Famed for his official covers, there is perhaps no active electronic music artist who has remade more of our scene’s most seminal tracks. Depeche Mode, Felix Da Housecat, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Knights of the Jaguar, Yeke Yeke and more have all received Space Motion’s inimitable production touch. Continuing to search for new pieces to put his elusive stamp on, Space Motion took to remixing Dance2Trance’s classic ‘Power Of American Natives’ earlier this year. Released in 1992 and featuring the vocals of Linda Rocco, the famed production was the third single from the duo’s first album, Moon Spirits. As the bands most commercially successful single, the song would go on to reach #3 in the UK Dance Charts and received a gold disc for its high sales numbers. The latest installment of our free download series welcomes Adam Sellouk and Matan Tamal with their take on ‘Rumble’ by Skrillex, Fred again & Flowdan. Hailing from Israel, Adam Sellouk first emerged in 2021 with a contribution to Steyoyoke’s Paradigm collection. Immediately recognized for his astral sound, Adam quickly caught the attention of world class DJ Miss Monique, who signed him to her Siona Records imprint for a two-track showcase later that same year. 2022 would see further successes for Adam, with Nora En Pure’s Purified imprint being the landing spot for ‘Mirage’, a well received production which saw play from Agents of Time, Innellea, Kevin de Vries and Mathame. Meanwhile, fellow countryman Matan Tamal has enjoyed similar success since his debut on Steyoyoke in 2021. Over the next two calendar years the Petah Tikva resident would record projects for Awen Tales, Duenia and Lowbit Records. Having previously collaborated on ‘Polar’, a track which was released via Awen Tales last year, Adam and Matan decided to work on a club effective version of ‘Rumble’ by Skrillex, Fred Again & Flowdan. Released as part of Skrillex’s 2023 album ‘Quest for Fire’, the dubstep/grime fusion proved to be one of the album’s most popular tracks, racking up close to one hundred million streams across a six month stretch. As a much requested track in the sets of Argy, Innellea, 8kays, Human Rias recent sets, we’re happy to offer their bootleg version as a free download. Enjoy
