Earlier this year I lost my ability to walk and was nearly paralyzed. Being able to work on music during this time of recovery has been really healing for me, and I don't know if a release has ever meant more to me. Not because how it sounds, but because of what I was going through while making these tunes. The journey encompasses my many feels throughout this journey. Beginning in from the universal sound source of the Om, this piece moves from the mechanical and sensual essence of modern life and society through the ebb and flow of becoming more and more aware of both the intense love and suffering of this world (represented by the movement of the strings) into an infinite space within, full of darkness but pulsing with beams of photons bringing one beyond space and time to the eternal sound of Om...

...awakening into an intricate hyperspace of Satori, we travel through the nexus of the Void upon the wings of a flute to find the realization that there is no realization and that It is beyond all things for: all is and all is not...

Floating back through inner/outer space and reawakening into this realm of Samsara and cyclical existence, the lessons of the Infinite are at first forgotten but then remembered again, creating a complete Self that is represented through the harmonic alignment of the strings and the flute, respectively symbolizing fear and love, darkness and light, the human experience and the buddha, the finite and the infinite...
