Michel ist DJ und Produzent aus Erfurt in Deutschland. Seit nun mehr als 20 Jahren ist er ein fester Bestandteil in der Thüringer Elektroszene. Seine Musik hat er über die Jahre immer weiter geformt und entwickelt. Anfangs noch Techno, geht sein Sound heute bis hin zum Dubtechno, Ambient und Lounge. Sein neues Projekt ist seine Podcastreihe unter dem Namen „WE ARE ONE“ – Musik verbindet. Michel möchte mit seinem Podcast verschiedene, talentierte Künstler aus der ganzen Welt zusammen bringen.

Welcome to the WE ARE ONE Podcast Episode 82 featuring Marie Wilhelmine Anders from Berlin, Germany, with her "Andersworld Remixes"-Promomix!

Marie's album "Andersworld" (2020) released by the label Broque in March was the second in a series of albums based on the poems of Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson. Marie's conceptual thinking and her craft as a modern classical composer allow her to congenially translate his lyrics into a modern
electronic language, which is influenced by techno and electronica.

"Andersworld" was already an extremely multi-faceted work of art, which combines club music, storytelling and a curious approach to classical and electronic instruments in a virtuoso way, resulting in an album that always rests harmoniously in itself.

As if the influences and facets weren't diverse enough, the follow-up Andersworld Remix album takes that to the next level: across eleven remixes, eight artists stemming from a close yet extended circle of friends sharpen the electronic and club-oriented dimension of Maries songs.

About Dubonautik (United Kingdom):

Dubonautik is a concept. A supernatural micro being. It is a very small 

part of an entire "task force" of subconscious mind. It is responsible for 

filtering incoming frequencies/vibrations. Those "clean" frequencies are 

aligned with the rest already stored "clean" vibrations block after block, 

while those "dirty" ones are moved for recycling... 

It is a very important task to do. Frequencies are vibrations and 

vibrations are universe. And you are a part of that universe. Inside and 

outside. Once your inside is reverberating good ("clean") energy, only 

then you can transport it to the outside world and let it flow into the rest 

of the universe.

Your subconscious is true you. Your "inner I". While your conscious mind 

does one thing, the subconscious has its own tasks to do. Nevertheless 

"just as your conscious mind can be thought of as the gardener, planting 

seeds, your subconscious mind can be thought of as the garden, or 

fertile soil, in which the seeds germinate and grow". Dubonautik is this 
little helper of that particular department. The department of incoming 
frequencies. It helps you plant those "clean" vibrations so that your 
entire "machine" functions in complete harmony most (hopefully) of the 
time. 
So Dubonautik music represents self-stages of that hard work within 
subconscious mind. Where it has one like the self within itself. And one 
within that one. And another one. And so on, and so on...

"Music was always my companion from, I suppose, 15. Whatever happens music is the only thing that stays with me and support me at any period of my life.
I'm a scenarist and director and in the club I experienced the power of an abstract emotional narative created by a DJ and a crowd.
I take an approach to music firstly as a listener and explorer more than expert and archivist. I always try to know as little as possible about the particular music I'm going to listen, not to prejudge. I avoid books and films about electronic music as well. What I do is searching for a particular feelings that comes from the music. And then I mix them into emotional stories."
