Tucson-based Venaht is the solo project of Nate Perry. The primary driving force behind Venaht is a love and appreciation for progressive metal, but is also influenced by various other genres of music that may occasionally creep their way into the compositions.

I release a variety of oddball music. Mostly in the realm of progressive rock or metal, but occasionally dipping into some folk, some electronic, some funk, or whatever I'm interested in at the time. I'm trying to channel my progressive metal tracks to my project called Venaht, when you can find in my links below.

Probably a majority of the tracks you'll hear here were first written for Weekly Beats, which is a community of people who write a song every week for an entire year. I completed the challenge in 2020 and I'm currently doing it again this year. Due to sheer volume of music (I've written over 70 tracks) not all of it is going to be present on this soundcloud page unless I eventually subscribe.
