For episode 71, we present LARAÑA. Born in Chile and based in Malmö, Sweden. Founder of TELA Kollektiv, with a vision to uplift the sounds of hypnotic, deep, and raw techno.

Influenced by his passion for metal music, he started DJing three years ago and found his path in these techno subgenres to create immersive mental landscapes in his sets.

Textures, electrifying sounds, rugosity and robust basslines are the signature elements of the work on this occasion.

Interview with LARAÑA:

Q: What made you start DJing?
A: I’ve always enjoyed watching DJs play at raves and felt intrigued to learn how to play. A few years ago at a midsummer party on the countryside I tried my friends controller and something in me clicked and I haven't stopped since.

Q: Describe your style in three words.
A: Raw, hypnotic and robust.

Q: Your best set in 2024/2025?
A: I had a good one at NGBG Festival last year.

"It has nothing to do because I live in Vegas. It has to do with the magical art of telling fortune with playing cards. Jack of Spades means a youth who is hostile. Spades is also the representation of air within the 4 suits. Being that I'm an Aquarius it made sense that it too is air. Just like when I read the dance floor or read the cards, I have a muse take over me and that muse will play something to make you move."
