Close to the original 90s atmospheric techno vibe, her approach shares that taste for spaciousness and sense-awakening uplift, fitting in nicely in the tradition of dub techno whilst opening onto more ambient-oid detours and further leftfield-friendly electronics. Delving in the essence of techno as a tool for emancipation, her mixes traverse a wealth of landscapes and territories, never quite sitting cozy but roaming in search of new forms to embrace, new geometries to integrate. A musical language in constant motion, where expectations wash up against the beauty of revelation.

Electric Indigo, DJ, composer, musician has performed in 46 countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. She represents an intelligent and distinguished interpretation of techno and electronic music. In 1998 she founded the transnational female:pressure network for which she received an Honorary Mention at Prix Ars Electronic in 2009. The Republic of Austria awarded her with the Kunstpreis Musik in 2020. Kirchmayr creates music for concert spaces and clubs, and occasionally for stage plays and short films. In her compositions and live performances, she emphasizes the spatial placement and precise structures of subtly elaborated sounds, often generated with granular synthesis. She premiered her works at festivals like Wien Modern, Musikprotokoll, CTM or Heroines of Sound and composed for Klangforum Wien. Her debut album “5 1 1 5 9 3” came out on Imbalance Computer Music, followed by "Ferrum" on Editions Mego in 2020. With her new audiovisual concert, Electric Indigo combines her music with a distinct love for colors and abstract forms. She is currently working on her third solo album.

The following series was founded to acknowledge producers for their influence on shaping the sound in the electronic music genre while simultaneously showcasing the distinctive musical style of each artist, featuring both released and unreleased music in an all-original podcast format.

K92 aims to reintroduce a sense of mystery surrounding artists by bringing back the focus on the music itself and creating a blank slate for listeners to develop their own interpretations. As a result, the sets on this platform do not include any press photographs or biographies. Instead, each set has been personally signed by the artist to complete their signature sound.

Bassiani Podcast 272 brings together two techno heavy-hitters for a three-hour bout of heady, rolling grooves. In one corner comes Georgian mainstay and grassroots agitator NDRX, a formative member of Tbilisi's techno contingent. His early efforts in expanding the city's nightlife offerings helped drive radical change, and shaped the decades since. His mission further translated into the founding of Stare at DJ (2012), and 11th Floor (2015). Both are vehicles for the gathering and promotion of local talent without which, Georgia today would look much different. In the other corner comes Dustin Zahn, a midwestern champion for tribal rhythms and pulsating hypnotism. Heavily armed with a flurry of references including the brain-melting IDM of the late 90s and iconoclastic beats, Dustin founded Enemy Records in 2004. In recent years, he has made appearances on labels like Blueprint, Token, and Rekids. He also hosts the Trainwrecks Podcast, an outlet for intimate face-to-face chats with industry peers. This storied duo are a menacing match, a b2b pairing that manifests the adrenaline-fueled techno native to both their sounds and whips up a sum greater than both its parts. This latest number is a bout of fevered techno havoc devised by two sonic confrères, an auditory onslaught of hammering loops recorded live at Bassiani's season closing night.

Recorded in Berlin with a Xone 96, with Function’s signature sound design woven throughout, the mix bridges heavyweight classics and future-shaping material. Kicking off with Nastia Reigel’s massive new remix of his own Disaffected, it showcases three tracks from her upcoming debut album Identity (out September 26 on Infrastructure).

The selection runs wide: from Regis, Rødhâd, LSD, Nørbak, Nastia Reigel, Ignez, Rene Wise, Silent Servant, Alarico and UFO95 to unreleased gems by Filippo Scorcucchi - alongside Function’s own productions, edits and textures. SPND20 Mixtape by Function

Tatsuya Kanamori goes by the name DJ Shufflemaster, a veteran driver for rolling hard-groove still going strong after three long decades. In his native Japan (around the time names like Takaaki Itoh and DJ Nobu were on the rise), his earliest ventures were closely tied to the work of Tokyo’s Subvoice, dynamic techno through and through. His arrival in Europe coincided with his 17 track debut album on Tresor Records, EXP (rereleased 2023), and proved his mettle as one of Tokyo’s best and brightest exports. Earmarked by talents like Ben Sims and Cari Lekebusch, those sounds became a staple for those in the know. 2014 saw his proprietor run label Shiki Kyokai kick into gear with a number of EPs, ruthless, iron-willed techno for the small hours, and a recent addition alongside Tensal, Pergo and Eduardo de la Calle has renewed his star for 2025 as well. Pluralistic and shrewd in their vision, his vaulting basslines flutter headlong into surging incarnations of the same wind he’s been riding since before the new millennium. With a spate of recent interest in the minimal styles of his starting decade, his work has found a new resonance among fans both at home and abroad. DJ Shufflemaster and his techno are keeping on rolling to the rhythm of his breakneck sounds. Bassiani Podcast 282 is a live recording of his set at Bassiani back in September, masterful beats from a Tokyo legend.
