Most recognised in the blues genre Clayton also has a jazz organ trio and is Australia's most in demand Hammond Organ player. He performs regularly with artist such as Harry Manx and Eugene 'Hideaway' Bridges both locally and internationally. Clayton first gained recognition as 'The Teenage Genius of The Hammond Organ' in iconic Australian blues band The Mighty Reapers. He played with Jackie Orszaczky for over a decade on and off, has lived and worked in NYC and Toronto and toured the globe both as a band leader and sideman. He has worked as a television music director for The Sideshow (ABC) and Good News Week (10). He hes performed at Montreal Jazz Festival, Toronto Jazz Festival, Vancouver Jazz Festival and numerous festivals across Europe. He is also in demand in the rock/pop scene having toured with The Divinyls, Billy Thorpe, Jimmy Barnes and Renee Geyer.
