Today we are very proud to present the 20th Episode of our Guestmix-Series to you. For this occasion we would like to introduce you to Daniel, better known as C4RiTO or Lenny Love.
His musical journey began in 2005 when he started making electronic music at the age of 15. Daniel has continued to develop himself both behind the decks and behind the scenes.
In 2015 he founded his first collective called "FRiENDS OF MUSEEK", which brought his own series of events to life. Daniel later became part of the Escon crew and the "Komod Kultur" family.
But own projects never came too short, for example: In 2020 the “Kuriose Visionäre”, a non-profit association, has been founded from which also the wonderful FaMühle Festival emerged.
Let us take you on a journey through the different facets of downtempo, deep and melodic house like you have barely heard them before.

Listening to Schleichcast°49 feels like entering a time machine that brings you back to the earlier days of downtempo: the kind of music to move the soul, music that makes you dance with slow, sweeping movements and the eyes closed, music that won’t get you with bangers and drop moments, but through its subtle and somewhat unpredictable flow exerting a magical attraction. Music with infinite possibilities because it comes without self-limiting standards in terms of its crowd-pleasing potential. Too intangible to be put into categories. It might be exactly this - it’s free, explorative and curious nature - that takes you away, that makes you wanna follow the whole story. As if someone was reading it out loud to you and you can’t miss any word to understand the whole plot. Will this mixtape get you a little nostalgic about downtempo from ‚back then‘? Maybe. Hellouu, i bims der Matti und komme aus Berlin, Charlottenburg.

>>Wie kamst du zum Auflegen?
Mein erstes Mal aufgelegt habe ich 2012 als ich noch ein junger Spund war. Das war im Wohnzimmer von meinem Bruder, seinem Billo-Setup und seiner Audiothek.  Der meinte: "Mach mal, du kannst das bestimmt!" Dafür bin ich ihm immer noch sehr dankbar, weil es mein erster Kontakt zu House und dem Musikmachen war! 

>>Was hat dich für das Set inspiriert?
Für dieses Set hat mich das Label "Molt" (!), der Frühling und der frühe Downtempo inspiriert. Ich vermisse die Zeit wo es nicht so viel um musikalische Banger ging und alle einfach rumprobiert haben. But: "The times they are a changing", i guess. Und zurückblicken kann man ja immer noch, vor allem wenn die direktive “Schleichend” heißt <3 
 
>>Welche Ziele als Künstler:in willst du noch erreichen?
Als Künstler habe ich mittlerweile nur noch ein Ziel: mit mir und meinen Sets / Liedern glücklich und zufrieden sein. Schon länger arbeite ich daran, mich weniger mit anderem zu vergleichen und weniger von mir zu erwarten. Der ständige Kontakt mit dem durch Zahlen verkörperten Erfolg, und jeder Menge Selbstdarstellungen (z.B. auf Instagram), machen das jedoch nicht leicht. 
Die beste Medizin gegen den Unmut sind für mich liebe Nachrichten und Kommentare! Der Einfluss von zuhörenden Person wird glaub ich sehr unterschätzt. Daher ein dickes dickes DANKE an alle gesprächigen Hoffnungsspender dieser Welt. You made my day so many times!

We are extremely thrilled to welcome Psytechno commandeer AKA NINA onboard our beloved podcast! 

AKA NINA, born and raised in Switzerland. 
One decade ago she found herself drawn into the heart of the techno scene in Berlin. This is where she dedicated her time to studying sound engineering and music production, and here she also started to DJ on a regular base.

Her music style varies from minimalistic dark and groovy beats to more intense and hypnotic techno. In both, her production and in her DJ sets, Nina aims to combine classic techno elements with psychedelic and organic sound design.

Representing xXETEXx, a well-established crew in the electronic Berlin scene. With plenty high-quality releases in her career with Soupherb Records, Occultech Recordings, Digital Structures, Padang Records, Pointzero Rec, Psy4Aliens, Zenon Records and Kafka Tempo.

Nina has had the pleasure of performing at famous festivals, like Boom Festival, Modem Festival, Fusion Festival, Masters of Puppets, Shankra FestivaL, Fora de Tempo, Odyssee and many more including HillTop Goa!
