In this Matsuri episode you can hear TSUYOSHI SUZUKI's "Nu Year 2023 Mix" recorded at Koenji Cave. Tsuyoshi Suzuki is an internationally-acclaimed DJ and producer from Tokyo. At the leading edge of the psychedelic trance movement for a quarter of a century, Tsuyoshi continues to thrill crowds all over the world with his uniquely focused style of mixing and psychedelic music selection. Tsuyoshi moved to London in 1992 to found Matsuri Productions with marketing manager John Perloff and to expand his work as a DJ. Producing popular releases on his record label while DJ’ing at the popular Return To The Source events in London, Tsuyoshi gained international popularity and was soon travelling across the globe. In 2000 he moved back to Tokyo and shifted focus to a wider range of electronic and analog musical styles with a new label, Madskippers, while also organizing the regular event Tokio Drome. He expanded from DJing into live music with his band Joujouka, which produces cross-platform electro psychedelic rock and fusion music.  In 2009, as Goa Trance started to enjoy a revival in Tokyo, Tsuyoshi re-started Matsuri Productions by rebranding as Matsuri Digital, working together with the young new DJ Yuta and others to bring the timeless Goa sound to a new generation. Tsuyoshi’s new project GoKen, with Japanese producer Ubar Tmar, is focused on updating psychedelic sounds with a 90s inspiration. Tsuyoshi and Matsuri are continuing to evolve and shape the global scene.

Here is the new Antu Records mix by BIOLOGICAL.

Biological is the newest project of the music producer: Ronei Leite aka Spectro Senses. Bringing the best of Full on national psychedelic. In collaborations and remixes of projects like: Burn in Noise, Pure Land, Northern Lights, Ital, Hypnoise, NAX, Mental Broadcast, Mekkanikka among others. The idea of ​​the project was born after twelve years of production. With a vast experience and a different view of the current psytrance scene, the idea is to bring to the audience a sound with striking melodies and a bass groove. In August 2019 Biological will release their first album by Chilean record label Antu Records, which promises to start their releases steadily. In partnership with Ital on his new EP Niwa, has already released a track called: Flying Spirts
Biological is coming in eager to demonstrate their sound on the dance floor, so stay tuned that a lot of energetic and psychedelic music is coming.

Bartek, a DJ from Warsaw who started his DJing adventure in January 2022.

He has a background in finance and is professionally involved in finance, by day he is passionate about electronic music with a significant predominance of psychedelic music.

His passion for electronic sounds started at the beginning of the last decade of the 20th century. In 1993, he got his hands on two trance compilations, Behind the Eye, released in '91 and '92 by Eye-Q Records, which strongly changed his perception of music and oriented him towards electronic music in a broad sense.


In the last two years he could be heard at parties in several major Polish cities and at summer open-air events related to Psytrance music. He started his career in the Warsaw club Cafe Przyjaźń and participated in the underground series RAVE ON FORTY. He has played at STK-47 in Krakow, Czudner Spot in Gdansk, Sixa in Katowice and clubs and cafes in Warsaw. Apart from club events, he has also performed at open air festivals/events, such as PsyFly Festival 2023/2024, Organic Festival 2024, Totem Festival 2024, or recently at Rave on Truck @ Warsaw.
He played among such persons as Psychosomasis, Nois, RECA, Logic, Shponte, Jagsonify.

He doesn't like 'boredom'; he usually plays music with a clear bass line, a strong groove and a lot of cosmic or acid sounds crossing the stage of a track. What he likes to play is the music he listens to on a daily basis, and this is primarily:
Night versions of Psytrance like twilight/night/forest in variety between 146-154. He also enjoys daytime variations of this genre, such as Full-on, Progressive, or Goa and NeoGoa, as well as genres such as Dark-Progressive, Psy-Tech, and occasionally Hard-Techno.
