i come to you now not just of my own heart, but because i was called to - we should answer the call - the 'true' one. i've been trying to catch my breath again, but it's time for a pulse check. thanks for the chance, Jared..it's been a race against time to finish it. it's rough, but it's real.

remember to take a second to catch your breath in this race of life - be careful too, others might want to suffocate your very existence...stay true to yourself..don't play yourself. oh, and don't forget - we breathe the same air. there is no air in the vacuum of space, so why not try to breathe with me for a moment here instead?

i have to thank my father, Mark, for this one. he had the 'Breathe EP' and played it all the time on the car stereo driving back and forth growing up as a kid around ages 3-5. guy loved Linkin Park, The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails...a hell of a lot of good artists, even ones I'm just now starting to appreciate and open my eyes and ears to like Fiona Apple and Lenny Kravitz. this one's an all-time favourite of mine - so here goes nothing. let's seize the initiative today and initialize this one 'bootleg' to try to get it right our way - new music for a new, jilted generation.

thank you Keith (rest in peace), Liam, Maxim, Leeroy, Jim...and to all the many others i'm sure deserve just as much. we all need a little space for ourselves, especially when we're 'out of space' in the 'timebomb zone'. let's learn again to extend that same grace to our fellow 'beings' and all the remaining 'living' species of our realm. this is all our nature. rave on.
