Yukataa is the music project of producer Philipp Grölz, who grew up in a small town in Central Hessen. Even at a young age, Philipp was enthusiastic about music. He initially devoted his attention to learning a few instruments and composing his first pieces.
In 2018, Philipp began to gain a foothold in nightlife as a DJ under the stage name Dr.OptikX. 
He first played music from his favorite artists at friends' parties and experienced a journey on which he was able to meet many great people. 
Over time, Philipp developed further and began working under the name Yukataa in 2021, also as a producer.
