Schugar grew up in an average midwestern town. In the late 80s and early 90s, he had some pretty cool and unusual musical influences. This lead to a healthy knowledge of computers, instruments and sound.

From 1997 to 2001, Schugar produced and performed music under many names including Fatal Erection(experimental click house), Finding NoWhere(Ambient Drones) and Matt Loathing(of Unconditional Loathing).

Unconditional Loathing was a constant experiment in sound and cultural/social manipulation with ever changing instrumentation, member roles, costumes, side projects, members, themes and presentation styles. Noise Opera, megaphones, puppet shows, percussion, homemade instruments, guitar pedals, computers, circuit bent kids toys, instruments of all kinds, Unconditional Loathing was a nightmare of sound that toured from Olympia, Washington to the depths of Ground Zero NYC 7 days after 9/11/2001. Shortly after the Phi-Phenom tour, which entailed 10 bands collectively performing in 50 minutes or less, Unconditional Loathing fell apart with its members dispersing themselves mostly across the West Coast.

Schugar created and destroyed every type of music at least once, dabbling in everything from noise and avante jazz, to ambient and intelligent, to house and techno. Schugar’s style has been a constant evolution of discovery and experimentation. Some call it disco or techno or whatever other socially acceptable term you can think of at the moment (nuretrodubhouseclickdeepdiscotech). Schugar’s sound varies from emotional to upbeat to dark and moody to happy and soulful.

In October 2001, Schugar moved to San Diego. There he produced 100's of art and music events, expanding his vision of artists collaborating and creating together. Schugar started such nights as Velvet Revolution, Filthy Sunday, Basic Tuesdays, Bleep Bloop, Dr. No's Fantasy and many more

Being an avid music collector since the early 80's and DJ since the early 90's, Schugar felt right at home joining the staff at local dance vinyl shop (calsound) in 2004. Calsound gave Schugar a further defined sound as his influences expanded every day becoming the Techno buyer and working along side House & Disco historian and long-time San Diego DJ legend Mark E Quark. 

In early 2009, Schugar created The Infusion Project, an artist collective that develops and empowers artists to be artists for a living. The Infusion Project has been a major source for collaboration and artistic evolution for Schugar. The Infusion Project is the next stage of Schugar’s vision of human beings seeing their creativity as a necessary part of life and seeing collaboration as their access to having that creativity be sustainable and useful to themselves and their community.

Since early 2010, Schugar has dedicated his time to expanding the vision of The Infusion Project through touring as a DJ/Promoter/Creative Director/Artist Coach, playing clubs, festivals and underground events as well as producing art and music events.

Accomplished musician and award-winning DJ, Theron Hunt has been setting the standard as one of Southern California’s most influential artists-producer for over a decade. He initiated first mastering the art of spinning vinyl records and transitioning to the latest in DJ/Producer technologies; Serato Scratch Live and Ableton. Theron has truly created a standard for what a well rounded, creative and dedicated DJ should be. It is no coincidence that his work ethic, skills and ambition has positioned him to win several awards. He has been one of the most influential DJs for the last decade in San Diego and throughout the continental US. Some of his achievements are, first place out of 20 DJs at the “DJ Spin-Off” contest- 4th and B nightclub-2002; Eventvibe’s “DJ of the Year” in 2004. Back to Back awards for “Best Resident DJ”-944 Magazine Platinum Awards in both 2006 and 2007; And most recently Theron received 944 “Reader's Pick For Best DJ"- 2011 in San Diego.  His innovative approach combined with his laid back persona has given his following a unique artistic perspective in creating and DJing music. Musically, he aesthetically refuses to conform to the status quo as he stays true to his roots of rock, 80’s, punk, old funk and breakbeats to create his own fresh style of electronic, party rockin’, breakbeats and house music. His residencies and venues include 5 star Gaslamp hot spots, such as the Ivy Hotel, Side Bar, Stingaree, Fluxx, Basic and any Fortune Industry event. During his career thus far he’s also DJ'd alongside Industry legends like Tiesto, Donald Glaude, DJ Icey, Bad Boy Bill and the Crystal Method to name a few.  He has also headlined numerous events at these venues in different cities/countries: Winter Music Conference-Miami (2001-2010), Automatic Slims- Miami, Pawnshop- Miami, The Cleavelander- Miami, Roail- Austin, Balero Lifestyle Club- Switzerland, Club Rubber- OC/San Diego, Hard Rock Hotel- San Diego/Las Vegas, Drai's- Las Vegas, Royale- Austin, Texas, See Sound Lounge-Seattle, The Ambassador- San Francisco, The Chapel- Pittsburgh, Jet Hotel- Denver and Longhis/Fleetwood’s on Front Street-Maui, HI. Being an individual who needs to constantly conquer new challenges, Theron has branched out into the business and production side of the nightlife. With ownership in Fortune Music (with friends and business partners DJ G ROY, DJ Chris Devoy and Jason Herrick), a subsidiary of Fortune Industries, he is working on producing his own tracks, collaborating with artists, as well as using Fortune Music to release projects with top DJ/Producers such as White Noise, Donald Glaude, Charles Feelgood and Scooter and Lavelle. Fortune Music has already produced a track that hit number one on dancerecords.com, and currently have releases charting on Beatport and Itunes. Having attended Icon Collective, a music production school in Los Angeles, he has also learned many techniques in the production of music through synthesis, recording techniques and mastering.  Through these relationships and experiences, Theron and his Fortune Industries/Music Family will continue to push the envelope musically, expand his network globally and rock the next dance floor in your city/country! A down to earth persona has been an imperative mantra to his growth personally and professionally. AWARD WINNING DJ, NIGHTLIFE INNOVATOR, MUSIC PRODUCER

What started as a mild obsession with big beat and trance records has turned into a fifteen-year career in the music and nightclub industries.  Promoting some of the biggest San Diego events during the early 2000's and holding DJ residencies at the the most sought after clubs wasn't enough for a young G-roy. In 2006 he launched the independent record label Fortune Music which would go on to release over 40 singles and mix CDs.
A steady stream of gigs and residencies across the United States brought G's unique style of mixing hip-hop, trap and house into various markets and tastemakers and crowds began to take notice.
Later G-roy began booking lineups and Djing for San Diego Block Party's large outdoor staged events. Booking acts such as Flosstradamus, The Knocks and Vicetone helped raise the bar for San Diego nightlife. 
Now residing in San Francisco, he continues to perform at eclectic music events up and down the West Coast.
