Rising star Dylan Jenét is a pop singer-songwriter and actress with a feverish passion to touch hearts with her music. Her sound has evolved into the future bass genre, transforming pop and R&B into a fresh new sound. Through her music, she seeks to share her strong-spirited sound and her vibrant artistry.

Jenét began performing music from a very young age. She had the honor of providing her voice to the Democratic Convention in 2008 and President Barack Obama’s Neighborhood Inaugural Ball in 2009. She then landed a starring role as Young Nala in Disney’s critically acclaimed Broadway production The Lion King, which she performed at both Carnegie Hall and the Microsoft Theater at L.A. Live (then called Nokia Theatre).

Jenét was discovered by music director Ray Chew, known for his work on hit television shows such as Showtime at the Apollo, American Idol, and Dancing with the Stars. Chew taught the young artist the true art of live performance along with many aspects of the music industry. 

In 2011, at the age of thirteen, she won a Native American Music Award (NAMMYS) for Best Pop Recording Artist, becoming the youngest artist to win the award. Her talent and creativity caught the attention of living legend Stevie Wonder, who took her under his wing. This mentorship led to her first record deal with Universal Republic Records.

Through her artwork and creative fan base, Dylan crafted a socially conscious underground teen culture called the Trippy Kid Movement. The Trippy Kid culture is motivated by positive actions of today's youth creatively combining different aspects of art, fashion, music and social media all brought together with the goal of communicating and dealing with issues important with today's youth.

Jenét is prepared to leave a musical legacy and make her mark as premiere voice in pop music, surrounding herself with positive people in order to stay on a path of musical sincerity. Jenét is an NAACP Junior Life member, and has been awarded the National Urban League Legacy Award for her charitable contributions in civil rights towards the economic empowerment of underserved urban communities. 

Dylan Jenét is poised to showcase her talents to the world, combining her perseverance with her dreams. She strives to pour her experiences into her music and express creativity that leaves a profound impact. The songstress will be releasing her debut EP in 2017.
