S.P.A.W.N presents - SPAWNcast. A divergent podcast series which is the crux of our channel. Showcasing music from the very best of the twisted musical minds from around the world, spawning their best tunes into a mix for us.

The eleventh edition features Linear System.

This is a project started in 2020, in the north of Spain, focusing on hypnotic Techno music. Linear System develops a unique signature in his tracks mixing strong basslines, Sci-fi ambiences, cold atmospheres and shamanic rhythms.
His music appears on mighty labels like Edit Select, Dynamic Reflection, Planet Rhythm to name a few and is supported by names like Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Oscar Mulero, Rødhad, Shifted, Sigha, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann and many more.

The first of a two-part package of exclusive material from the 17th edition in the Watergate CD series is from none other than the duo who commanded the mix, Pan-Pot. Making it even more special is the fact that both tracks are collaborations with two heavy hitting names in the industry from completely different sides of the musical spectrum: Slam and Vincenzo.

On the A side we see Pan-Pot and Slam do a techno burner with 'Conductor'. This shouldn't come as any surprise as both are well known for their heavy peak time club anthems. With driving hi hats, crisp snares and a thumping kick drum, the solid foundation is laid for the craftsmen to build the rest of their masterpiece and it begins with dark, reverb heavy stabs. Slowly a monotonous yet psychedelic tone takes grip and the stabs come again. This time more frequent and building in energy before getting to the break where the white noise grows and the tension builds. With just a few perfect elements it only takes removing a few pieces and then giving them back at the perfect time to instill a massive 'hands in the air' moment.

The flip side offers another vibe which rounds out the EP perfectly. It was in 2007 on the Pan-ORama album that we last saw Vincenzo and Pan-Pot together for 'Faces'. With 'Fiction Inc' we see both artists’ styles shine through. A warm deep sub bass grabs your attention while washes of glittery synths pan the background setting the stage for the lush key work that Vincenzo is synonymous for and the sinister bleeps that scream Pan-Pot. Finally the feature element reveals itself; a mix between dark and uplifting chords that resolve each cycle of the other elements finalizing in a cohesive, driving, emotional ride.

In 1995, Sebastian attended his first bunker parties and discovered his love for electronic music. Eventually, in 1998, he began DJing under the name Sebastian Keks. A 100% vinyl DJ with full dedication, his sound is deeply rooted in 90s techno. In October 2000, Sebastian and his twin brother founded the crew Umweltpumpe1, which initially focused on techno events. In 2002, Umweltpumpe1 evolved into a small techno label, Up1 Records. From 2004 until its closing in 2013, Sebastian was a resident DJ at Triebwerk Dresden. In 2014, he launched the event series Nachteulen and Berlin Techno. Since March 2024, he has been a member of SUT - Secret Underground Techno.. In 2005, Umweltpumpe1 organized its first party under the name Gepflegtes Klopfen at Triebwerk Dresden, followed by additional events in Germany and Poland. In 2024, another project was launched: Gepflegtes Klopfen Series, a podcast channel focused on publishing techno sets by various DJs without any frills or gimmicks.

Based out of Bangalore (India), Seventh Sea is one of the very few pioneers from the Indian techno scene who dwells in the realm of harder sounds. His music is often perceived as eerie, machine-aggressive and hell themed. He follows a ‘no nonsense’ policy, be it his sets or productions, which means he never conforms to trends or never involves cheese to impress the audience. He believes in rendering and delivering unconventional raw sounds, which always steers away from the cliché and this can be heard in all of his releases.

Son of rock drummers, from the city of Kolkata, India. The now Cyprus based artist injects 90's sensibilities militarised for the millennial generation.
A project born on the midst of a nomadic journey, looking to contribute its own ghetto aesthetic to predominantly the techno and electro/breakbeat scenes. 
The journey into the techno sphere was a long but organic transition. Years spent living in the USA, UK and Switzerland shaped a unique dancefloor culture that drives the project's aesthetic.

A 100% vinyl DJ with full dedication, his sound is deeply rooted in 90s techno. In October 2000, Sebastian and his twin brother founded the crew Umweltpumpe1, which initially focused on techno events. In 2002, Umweltpumpe1 evolved into a small techno label, Up1 Records. From 2004 until its closing in 2013, Sebastian was a resident DJ over 10 years at Triebwerk Dresden, and he played in the years in clubs and events like Summer Spirit Festival, Nature One, Stigma, Tresor Berlin, Black Swan Bristol/UK, Darkside Pilsen/CZ, Technokultura Gdansk/PL.. In 2014, he launched the event series Nachteulen and Berlin Techno. Since March 2024, he has been a member of SUT - Secret Underground Techno. Since August 2024, he has also been part of KDN - Kinder der Nacht Events. In 2005, Umweltpumpe1 organized its first party under the name Gepflegtes Klopfen at Triebwerk Dresden, followed by additional events in Germany and Poland. mein set von der püppy unrockbar birthday party aus dem stellwerk halle.
die aufnahme ist teilweise ziemlich übersteuert, und der sound dadurch von der qualität, nicht so schön. es war auch wirklich laut in dem floor.
die anlage war extrem laut, und die stimmung war richtig cool :-) 
alles in allem. super party !

Clueso Gewinner - Freakdephilipè Remix For Free

1999 entdeckte Sebastian Sander unter den Augen von Frank Thorhauer sein
musikalisches Talent. Von seinem Können schaute er sich einiges ab. als von Jens
Grundmann alias Grundi die Endstation in der Distillery ins Leben gerufen
wurde, begeisterte Sebastian unter dem Namen Sebastian Sandmann seine immer grösser werdende Fangemeindschaft.
Sein Talent umfasst ein weites Spektrum, neben Minimal und Drum n Bass schlägt sein Herz am meissten für harten Techno, den er dann auch in voller Hingabe seinem tobendem Publikum präsentiert. Denn wo er
auftaucht bleibt kein T-shirt trocken...
Mittlerweile gibt es auch fast keinen Club in Leipzig und im leipziger Raum, wo der Sandmann noch nicht gelegt hat. Als Sebastian dann im Dezember 2007 Bastian und Martin W. kennen lernte und auf beiden Seiten grosse Sympatie vorherrschte,war der Grundstein für die Aufnahme in der Leveltraumafamilie gelegt.
Mittlerweile ist Sandmann ein fester Bestandteil von Leveltrauma geworden. Neben einer Residentstelle im Tubeclub Merseburg und im Skyclub Leipzig kamen noch mehrere Tracks zustande,die Sandmann selbst produzierte.Einige davon wurden schon veröffentlicht.
Zudem sind noch einige andere interessante Projekte auch mit anderen Künstlern in Arbeit.
Nach nun mehr als 16 Jahren Techno-,DJ- und Cluberfahrung
wird der Sandmann kein Stück müde...
