Marius Rosenthal aka IO launches his debut release with Spawn Records. IO’s unique fusion of hard hitting dubstep bass with a blend of Oriental instrumentation lets IO stand out from the crowd. After his first ever track “Shatter” was put out as a free download on Brazil’s biggest bass music YouTube promotion channel – Clown Dubstep – it was clear that the bass scene wanted to hear more from IO, as soon as possible. His debut release features “Shatter” along with three very unique and very heavy brand new tracks. Definitely one to watch in the future and we can’t wait to hear more from IO.

Established in early 2013, Spawn Records is the bass scene's answer to a record label truely focused on giving underrated producers greater exposure. We sign records from some of the most established names right down to artists releasing their debut material. We release a 4 track EP every two to four weeks so regularly keep a look out for new material! So they are our USPs... what about our music? To date, we have released EPs from RoughMath, Cliffhanger, IO, Real Trauma, EMPRSS, Furtive, ECKS and a remix EP with Koven, Archie Cane, Skit and Jarvis.
