Martin Jarl - Exosphere

Release number 47 is a remix EP of Dubtommy's Immersion track, which was released as a 3 track EP on December 15, 2021. On remix duties, we have Addex, Alessandro Crimi, who also did a remix on Addex track Across The Endline last year and BDTom, who released recently the Mandarin Drive (Remixes). The original mix delivers spoken hypnotic words along the track with a breakbeat sound and atmospheric dreamy pad. Sound of chimes and the shakes are filling the track with tranquil feel.

The remixes turned the original track sounds, especially the spoken vocal and reshape it in different shades of dub style. Addex remix starts and ends in a build-up and closed slow rhythm, as we hear the entire remix using those chill vocals and placed very well. Alessandro Crimi is the only remix in this pack that has a bit of higher tempo than the rest, but the elements used and a bit of spoken vocals in the background makes the remix with a perfect driving sound and a techno-esque style. BDTom remix hits the dub and deep house combination very well, his trademark sound turns the remix in a slow and groove ambiance.

Dubtommy - Immersion (Addex Remix)

The consistently good Madrid-based record label, Sungate welcomes Cøre and Einerlei for the latest release. A five-track 'Mindside' EP features two remixes of the title track done by Crossing Avenue, Laima Adelaide, and an ambient version by Cøre and Einerlei. 

Our premiere for today, the title track 'Mindside,' is a perfectly balanced hypnotic techno journey. The track opens up with a steady four to the floor beat layered with long, lush pads and a 'deep water'-like synth sequence which keeps things interesting throughout this trip. Midway through this journey, a mellow thin-sounding melody brings everything together and gives this track a beautiful melancholy touch. 
Mindside EP is coming out this Friday, May 6th, via Sungate Records.

Parisian duo Masomenos deliver their new LP' Unidentified Aerial Phenomena' this May, coming via the Automatic Writing imprint and comprising eleven originals, featuring Amsterdam's San Proper.
Masomenos have always explored parallel worlds with their music, fusing an amalgamation of influences and bringing all the humor and kindness they've met on their path into their universe. Their music, weird and intriguing for some, lively and trippy for others, is like an ongoing story told over more than 15 years of musical production. Alongside the music is their graphic design accompaniment of funny creatures and mystical figures. In this new opus, they surf the frontier between their club sound and home listening, inviting friends over for the ride. Julien Quentin at the piano, Adrien Boisseau on the viola, and San Proper on vibe & vocals.
Today's premiere, 'Hollow,' is a dubbed-out house journey that slowly unfolds from a beatless stab-driven intro with haunting vocals into a mesmerizing odyssey full of little details and melancholy melodies.

'Hollow' and the rest of the 'Unidentified Aerial Phenomena' LP are coming out on May 20th via Automatic Writing.

Throughout a decade Rico Casazza has developed a name with music that spans multiple genres. Diversity in music is his core. Nowadays he’s more known for his electro/IDM productions, but he’s also fond of techno, minimal, ambient, and electronica.

Although saying that an artist “does techno/electro/IDM” is something being heard thousands of times, Rico’s sound has a common characteristic recognised for recurring themes; to best describe it, it has to do with the nostalgic, melodic, ominous, deep music that brings you inside, yet is very energetic.

Having released about 19 EPs, 6 full albums, 15 remixes and more to come, composing music is his core force.

His carefully crafted sound has found home in Prague’s Moving Pictures label, in a form of a solid 4-tracker vinyl EP. Dive into its four chapters: “Emptiness Form” for a melancholic acid trip, “Ultramarine” for an aquatic techno-submarine immersion, or visit “Praslega” - an obscure yet lush sonic construction, along with “Jan25” - a mellow moody anthem.

Hello friends! 
We have a gift from one of the most interesting artists of the contemporary Russian dub-techno scene, a surprise release from Heavenchord «Reshapes». 
The reason for the creation of this release was the tracks that are deeply settled in the soul of the author. 
Showing his vision for these tracks through musical experiments, music was continued in different electronic genres. However, while listening to «Reshapes» is felt deep the author's love for dub-techno sound, this is the whole Heavenchord. In the release there are a lot of prolonged, long tracks, this is the time when the author had to haunt his mind, switch to some moments of life to better convey what is happening inside him.

"Spacelunch" (short. spclnch) is a Dutch electronic music label with an emphasis on the dub sound founded in Minsk in 2019 by Thomas Carmody. The key ethical principles are an individual approach and a careful selection which allows you to get the best possible from the communication with artists.

The concept of releases is dedicated to a fantastic multimedia universe. The space adventures of Spacelunch and Cat unfold in episodes of an interactive musical comic. Each of them has an original script, and they are connected by a consistent storyline.
