Unearthing the ruins of a vanished Martian civilization has led to a portal to an apocalyptic, aggressive world, where the echoes of race battles thundered, flames blazed everywhere and demonic priests pestered. The previous research team left behind only SOS signals, frightening with their helplessness and encrypted on the flight recorder as a warning to all outsiders about the inadmissibility of staying here.

The audio messages contain information about strange pataphysical phenomena, suspicious accidents, and a mass obsession of the expedition members. Rare specimens of the fauna of the infernal dimension, collected at the cost of many human lives, pointed to the main mystery – a sarcophagus with ancient writings sealed with an occult pentagram. The die is cast, what remains is being patient and count on luck.

My next guest who brings some "Moments Of Light & Darkness" to the surface, is an artist, DJ and producer, who calls himself Center Of Light. @centeroflight
To introduce his mix he provided a small text: 
"It was meant to be a recovery day — quiet, healing. But the weight came back, heavier than before. Each time I stood, something pulled me down again. The hours blurred, full of silence, setbacks, and slow breaths.
Still, I kept trying — not out of hope, but habit. And somehow, in the end, I was on my feet. Not strong. Not whole. Just standing. And maybe, for today, that was enough." 

This unique selection, from mindfulness to ambient sections, developes further to minimal patterns and comes with deepness.

I don't know, if this album title is related to the fact, that the upper world is a term from some shamanistic traditions, which is meant as a place of wisdom, love, healing and compassion. It is a place where we can get a bigger perspective on hurt and tuff experiences. ..we hurt and get hurt. and hurt others as well. thats life. but we learn through that. no matter what.

Chapter two — “Echoes From Iconia” by Basicnoise. Shifting time layers, slow pulses, and distant patterns with no clear origin. The signal is a trace of something that was here — or still is. You listen. Something listens back.

Logbook. Exploration mission.

Day 1. The planet is dead. An anomaly is detected — the time flow is slightly distorted.

Day 2. Landed in the central crater. The clocks of our suits show different times from the clocks on the ship. The gap is increasing.

Day 4. Logs contain records of events that never happened. A report of tomorrow’s evacuation appeared in the system. No one wrote it.

Day 5. We found footprints leading from the landing site to the crater, identical to ours. The ship log was discovered nearby. Final entry: “Do not enter the crater.”

Log transmission terminated. The crew did not reestablish contact.

Biography: 
Protyv is the stage name of Diogo Tavares, a Portuguese DJ and producer of electronic music. He began his musical journey at a very young age, receiving his first piano before the age of six. At 13, he started playing guitar and developed a passion for rock music. Although he never received formal musical training, he taught himself. In 2004, he discovered electronic music and fell in love with genres like house, trance, and minimal.

In 2012, he released his first EP, and by 2015, he had focused primarily on techno. His productions have been released by several labels, including Humman Records, Sector Four Audio, and Folt Records. Protyv has performed at major events, such as the Amsterdam Dance Event, cementing his relevance in the electronic music scene.

His music is available on platforms like Bandcamp and SoundCloud, ranging from ambient tracks to intense techno and drum and bass productions. The vibe of his music is defined by deep, atmospheric layers combined with intricate sound design. Protyv strikes the perfect balance between the hypnotic allure of minimal and the energetic pulse of techno.

With a keen focus on rhythm and textures, his tracks create immersive soundscapes, making them ideal for both late-night club sets and introspective listening. Whether crafting pulsating beats or exploring melodic and experimental territories, his sound embodies a forward-thinking and innovative approach to electronic music.

01 Akmuo - Night Coast

Recorded in a small village on the Costa Brava – surrounded by seagulls, tramontana winds, and sea urchin-covered rocks – this mix comes from the laid-back Barcelona neighbourhood of Gràcia, where Parisian-born Antoine Harispuru, better known as Golden Bug, has made his home.

With a career spanning over fifteen years, Golden Bug has become known for his unique signature: drum machines in a haze of smoke, chopped-up sounds with a machete edge, drenched in delay – a raw, kaleidoscopic patchwork of electronica, dub, and psychedelia.

His work has graced  labels including La Belle Records (his own imprint), Les Disques de la Mort, Höga Nord, Gomma, Multi Culti, and Kompakt. This mix hits as the anniversary edition of Piscolabis II, where Golden Bug teams up once again with artists from around the world to craft a new series of aural excursions. From digital reggae to cinematic electronica with Londoner Simone Butler (of Primal Scream) and Brazilian artist Max Blum, to mutant disco with Franco-Italian musician Kim Giani, via slow-burning, incandescent techno led by the captivating voice of Greek singer Scarlett O’Hanna, and krautrock infused with dub in collaboration with London-based Phoebe Coco. These six tracks offer a bold and refreshing reinterpretation of the original album: a rich, textured sonic journey shaped by diverse and unexpected influences.
