About Subduxtion[United States]:

After discovering an unmistakable talent for the art of music at a young age, subduxtion first fell in love with the idea of music when he began learning various instruments in several bands of differing musical styles during his childhood. Originally hailing from LA, subduxtion had his first taste of electronic music after discovering techno and immediately bonding with the genre. The appeal of the futuristic elements Techno music provided, spoke to subduxtion and so did the idea of creating it himself.  subduxtion began back in 2007, with an original sound he labels as ‘Dark-Step’ which instantly jump started his production process with a sound that he could call his own.

 Backed by the idea of embracing technology as a tool for the manipulation of perspective, subduxtion has been making a name for himself. Armed with a discography of impressive releases that includes several singles, EP’s and remixes on renowned labels like Milligrid Records (US), Zero Signal Records (JP), High-Pressure Systems (UK) and I&W Music (US).

subduxtion has been turning heads in the industry with his most recent hits like ‘Shelter’. A track which is specially crafted with a Dark and Minimal Dub influenced Tech-House vibe and is a futuristic culmination of synths and drum machines that perfectly blends those elements together.

subduxtion’s ability to branch out and play with and combine a variety of sounds from percussion to deep pads to glitched-out electronics is what sets him apart from the rest. His latest work alongside the imprint ‘Milligrid Records’ has allowed him to showcase his inimitable talent for music production, leaving no doubt that subduxtion fits right at home amongst the impressive roster of artists that the label has to offer.

The jubilee sonata in seven movements embraces the grandeur of the Brandenburg Gate and refers to the philosophy of absurdism. The mysterious anatomy of arrangements is built by the harmony of electroacoustic abstractions. The stylistic richness hides eternal, defining meanings, woven from categorical percussion, pad mysticism, and tapping, chirping and rustling arising out of nowhere. The truth of destiny lies in diligent efforts and in the power of ennobling work. Dedication to the craft, despite the taste of disappointment, opens a way to self-acceptance.

Premiere: Deadbeat and Sa Pa – Forbidden City [BLKRTZ050]

Release number 47 is a remix EP of Dubtommy's Immersion track, which was released as a 3 track EP on December 15, 2021. On remix duties, we have Addex, Alessandro Crimi, who also did a remix on Addex track Across The Endline last year and BDTom, who released recently the Mandarin Drive (Remixes). The original mix delivers spoken hypnotic words along the track with a breakbeat sound and atmospheric dreamy pad. Sound of chimes and the shakes are filling the track with tranquil feel.

The remixes turned the original track sounds, especially the spoken vocal and reshape it in different shades of dub style. Addex remix starts and ends in a build-up and closed slow rhythm, as we hear the entire remix using those chill vocals and placed very well. Alessandro Crimi is the only remix in this pack that has a bit of higher tempo than the rest, but the elements used and a bit of spoken vocals in the background makes the remix with a perfect driving sound and a techno-esque style. BDTom remix hits the dub and deep house combination very well, his trademark sound turns the remix in a slow and groove ambiance.

Episodes of sacred rites held near the bygone Indian reservation were emerging in Spacelunch's memory. According to the legend of the Sumerians, the sacred altar at the foot of the mountain of monuments hid the secrets of thousands of customs. Is it a lot or not? It is impossible to predict how the story could have continued if it had not been for the ritual with the potion made of the Ayahuasca.

The ceremony of reunion with the spirits of nature allowed barely noticeable sprouts to grow inside the consciousness — harbingers of a huge storm that knocks down and mercilessly shatters the mind like an empty bottle against stones. Defenceless humility and love in response to the laughter of the universe is the only chance to feel freedom, be alone with yourself and warm your neighbours with the inner fire.

Spacelunch (short. spclnch) is a Dutch electronic music label with an emphasis on the dub sound founded in Minsk in 2019 by Thomas Carmody (@thomascarmody). The key ethical principles are an individual approach and a careful selection which allows you to get the best possible from the communication with artists.

The concept of releases is dedicated to a fantastic multimedia universe. The space adventures of Spacelunch and Cat unfold in episodes of an interactive musical comic. Each of them has an original script, and they are connected by a consistent storyline.
