The primary motive behind us implementing Astrophysics Editions is showing our appreciation to our guests whom were kind sufficiently to be a part of our stories of the resounds and reverbs and in conclusion,with this installment, we also want to see their audience expand.

About Ocralab [Italy]:

Obscure medidubtive microwaves from the deep. Rocco Biscione has been experiencing electronic patterns since 1999 with the project Ocralab, mixing and shaping new sonic forms, aerial textures and signals from the space.

To involve the listener in a profound, emotional experience of time space navigation among the remote regions of the
inner universe. 

Rare, volatile ambient exotunes, light techno beats and echotones drop down in the abandoned forest of desolation. 

Invisible particles of nature, dark cloudy shapes and unknown plains seem to appear slowly by floating in
the soundscapes.

To perceive sublimation by reaching that state of soul where all motions are temporary suspended,enabling the immersive capability and enjoying the beauty of thousand possible worlds.

The path to the sacred altar at the foot of the mountain of Monuments wound through the ruins of the Dead City that resembled an ancient Phoenician settlement. There was only one thing that was alarming here — strong landscape distortions. The web of streets and blocks weaved endless patterns, rounding the corners and drawing strange, sometimes impossible geometry. Dilapidated palace towers with mysterious frescoes and time-worn colonnades reminded of a once prosperous state. The smell of decay and the cold shade of the fortress walls reminded of the times of padishahs and sultans who greedily fought for the throne.

SOUNDEALER:

My real name is Marco, and I born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1974.
I’m a music lover since kid, with all genres influences, once that from young age, I remember to listen from the deepest fado (my fathers), Herbie Hancock Rockit, 80’s pop music or metal.
In 1996 I turned more into electronic, with main influence of Plastikman sound (albums and his Migmag mix) and other techno / house producers.
Also, the influence of some friends, heavy reggae and dub lovers had helped to define my sound, with some obsession about FX like delay, reverb and filter, and Basic Channel main influence.
I started to around 99 with my first decks, and collecting vinyl, blending deep house vibes, detroit techno, progressive house, tech house, etc.
Also explore the possibilities of technology in mixing, as Traktor, as same as produce some original sound.
But mainly vinyl addict and trader.

Spacelunch (short. spclnch) is a Dutch electronic music label with an emphasis on the dub sound founded in Minsk in 2019 by Thomas Carmody (@thomascarmody). The key ethical principles are an individual approach and a careful selection which allows you to get the best possible from the communication with artists.

The concept of releases is dedicated to a fantastic multimedia universe. The space adventures of Spacelunch and Cat unfold in episodes of an interactive musical comic. Each of them has an original script, and they are connected by a consistent storyline.
