Alternative uploading of scripts into the cerebral cortex has long been serving as a protection against the disastrous consequences of neurodegeneration. The sessions involve the introduction of updated software directly through the patient's energy field. During the Third Constellation War, the Smorings got the unspoken biohacking technologies from local looters who offered everything that came to hand.

The Queen closed her eyes and gradually fell into a trance. A languid voice began to pronounce incantations in a strange language, to the beat of which Cat was snoring absently. The phrases resonated and stuck together. Healing psionic currents slid over Spacelunch's head, creating colored hyperspace kaleidoscopes in the darkness of his closed eyes.

"Hmm, the Voynich manuscript? The old man Bacon would be delighted right now...", — out-of-body experiences gradually subsided under dark glasses. A ringing silence hung around, which meant a complete shutdown of internal navigation. Failure to reinstall is fraught not only with disorientation, but also with the erasure of all skills. A few seconds remained to prevent the complete disintegration of the personality…

Plugging in another flash disk, the professor dived into the endless labyrinths of mind. Moving through the foggy streets of Chinatown, he scrutinized even the most insignificant details. Once in a narrow alleyway, a lamppost came into view, on which there was glued, among many others, an old advertisement: "Implement an idea into an individual's mind through dreaming." Spacelunch disconnected from the neural processor that same moment and cried: "This is it!" Now they knew exactly what to do next.

CRG011 sees the long awaited return of Wrong Assessment. The A side see's host to stripped back, heavyweight, dance-floor rollers. 'Endocrine Response' will have you descending into a subtle trance via its scattering hi hats and brooding synth work, while 'Neurotag' is all about the contrast between the groove and the ever rising minor note, which continues even through breaks in the rhythm, yet drops off without a trace as if it were never there.

The B side continues this theme of mind-bending synths and kaleidoscopic drum work, albeit with a noticeably tougher attitude. 'Virtual Hand' is certainly a peak time hitter, with nods to Mike Parker and Abdulla Rashim in its own unique style. On remix duties for 'Virtual Hand' is another Clergy favourite, Kmyle. He takes the track in a darker direction, moving more towards a sense of dread and frantic despair with nervous hats, claps and snares.

Those buying digitally will have access to an extra 5th track, 'Ganglion'. It continues the narrative of the record, but with more focus on the driving rhythm and agitated, almost random, synth stabs.

Spacelunch (short. spclnch) is a Dutch electronic music label with an emphasis on the dub sound founded in Minsk in 2019 by Thomas Carmody (@thomascarmody). The key ethical principles are an individual approach and a careful selection which allows you to get the best possible from the communication with artists.

The concept of releases is dedicated to a fantastic multimedia universe. The space adventures of Spacelunch and Cat unfold in episodes of an interactive musical comic. Each of them has an original script, and they are connected by a consistent storyline.
