Unearthing the ruins of a vanished Martian civilization has led to a portal to an apocalyptic, aggressive world, where the echoes of race battles thundered, flames blazed everywhere and demonic priests pestered. The previous research team left behind only SOS signals, frightening with their helplessness and encrypted on the flight recorder as a warning to all outsiders about the inadmissibility of staying here.

The audio messages contain information about strange pataphysical phenomena, suspicious accidents, and a mass obsession of the expedition members. Rare specimens of the fauna of the infernal dimension, collected at the cost of many human lives, pointed to the main mystery – a sarcophagus with ancient writings sealed with an occult pentagram. The die is cast, what remains is being patient and count on luck.

“Dombre” is a 14-track album that balances minimalism with deliberate surprises. Many of the tracks deliberately hold back, allowing space and groove to take effect—until the bridges come in and open up new twists and turns.
Stylistically, the album moves between tech house, deep house, and melodic house, with a focus on details, textures, and tension rather than obvious drops. “Dombre” is not a loud statement, but an album that unfolds further with each listen.

Marco Cassanelli is the first artist and his track 'Camden Town' has a pure classic dub techno sound to it. Long delayed chords lull you into a peaceful mid-set trance while the beat is sure to move your body. Sibling's 'Valhalla' rises from the depths with a fantastic bassline and metallic spheres drenched in echo. A heady and busy track that really makes you take notice. On the second side is 'Evolution' by Federsen and it has a more traditional dub approach. The groove is addictive here. Sounds dip and swell in a master class of subliminalism. Bingo! The encounter with the minimal antagonist, who was following the irreconcilable ufologists during the quantum leap, was so unexpected that they barely realized how they switched bodies.

The endless maze of stairs and abandoned, winding corridors of the aerospace corporation was confusing due to spatial reversion. The cuttlefish's minions, the shadow phantoms, followed them step by step like its ubiquitous giant tentacles, crawling underfoot and along the walls.

Cat 007 fastidiously refused to put up with the role of prisoners and, grabbing his friend, blasting well-aimed, cutting shots from the service blaster, left a couple of decent holes in the energy field of annoying creatures. Without a doubt, it became obvious that interplanetary explorers were being hunted.

Spacelunch (short. spclnch) is a Dutch electronic music label with an emphasis on the dub sound founded in Minsk in 2019 by Thomas Carmody (@thomascarmody).
