This is the 4th single from my new album "Embraced".  It is a remix I did for the amazing Kyrstyn Pixton, who over the last several years has become a great friend.  

Kyrstyn's music is deep and uplifting.  Her improvisational skills are incredible, and if you've ever had the chance to see her live, she's quite the silly one as well.  I've had some of my favorite live jams with her (dinosaur song at Rootwire, absolutely legendary lol)

I'm so excited to share my rendition of "Beads on the Wind".  I was visiting Kyrstyn and our friend Theo Brama happened to be at her house when I was choosing which song I wanted to remix.  I dove immediately into writing the song and was adding some guitar parts when I invited Theo (also 1/2 of Entheo, who I recommend checking out)to lay down some guitar parts.  Very happy with the result.  This song melts my heart

Was für ein Jahr. 
Ein Jahr voller neuer Erfahrungen, toller Menschen und nicht zuletzt ganz viel guter Musik. Dem einen oder anderen ist sicher aufgefallen, dass wir uns aus dem World Wide Web immer häufiger ins echte Leben getraut haben. Sei es in Form von Festival-Kooperationen, Clubpartnerschaften oder wie zuletzt, unserer ersten kleinen Partytour durch unsere Heimatstädte. Dabei wollen wir nicht verhehlen, dass wir hin und wieder an unsere Kapazitäten gestoßen sind. Der Grund ist relativ simpel: Unser komplettes Team besteht aus Menschen, die FRÜHER nicht hauptberuflich betreiben, sondern als Herzensangelegenheit verstehen. Warum schreiben wir euch das? Weil wir bei all denjenigen um Verständnis bitten wollen, die keine oder eine zu späte Antwort auf ihre Setanfrage, ihren Podcastwunsch oder ihren  Künstler-Tipp bekommen haben. Nach wie vor ist uns jede Art des Austausches mit euch enorm wichtig.

Dann waren da 12 prall gefüllte Musikmonate, die wir in Form unseres Weihnachtskalenders versucht haben einzufangen. An eine Vollständigkeit ist bei der Fülle an guter Musik gar nicht zu denken. Und doch mögen wir unsere Auswahl wirklich sehr. Die wirkliche Herausforderung lag auch in diesem Jahr wieder bei der gekonnten Verknüpfung der einzelnen Tracks, hin zu einem, nein, unserem alljährlichen Weihnachtsset. Dieser Herausforderung stellte sich der Weiße Rabe, der gerade frisch aus den Staaten zurück für ordentlich Wirbel sorgte. Sei es mit eigenen Musikveranstaltungen im Ruhrgebiet, seinem Musikblog beatverliebt oder auch vielversprechenden Buchungen im nächsten Jahr. Zu nennen wäre da nur als ein Beispiel das Dockville. Wir danken diesem ausgesprochen sympathischen und talentierten Künstler für seine Mühe und die Leidenschaft.
Bedanken möchten wir uns natürlich auch bei allen Künstlern, Zuhörern, Freunden und Kritikern. Wir sehen und hören uns alle im nächsten Jahr wieder und wie immer haben wir einiges vor. Jetzt aber erst mal viel Spaß mit unserem Weihnachtsset.
