It's one week ago since we had our last Pandora Event this year at our beloved Club Erdbeermund- and we're still thrilled about this night with the best crowd we could have had imagine. Our pandora members and friends VIIKA and foudini were playing the closing alongside each other and had incredible much fun with it and fired up the club- finally we uploaded their Set, enjoy the ride!❤️

Wie war dein Weg bisher?
Superfreaking spannend :) Allerdings nicht immer einfach. Als transweibliche Person hab ich immer etwas den Struggle gehabt den passenden Space für mich zu finden. Queerparty's waren oft eher cis-male dominiert, feministische Räume wiederum von Cis-Frauen (samt den internalisierten Bauchschmerzen dort nicht so Willkommen zu sein wie auf dem ersten Blick anzunehmend). Zudem neigt man dann mit dieser intersektionalen Verschränkung von gender & transgender besonders häufig dazu eher den dekorativen PR-Zweck auf Timetables zu erfüllen – Für die Quote und eine augenscheinliche Parität. Auf den beschissensten Floor. Zur nervigsten Uhrzeit. Und ganz bis gar nicht bezahlt – Auch wenn ich mich noch so sehr verrenke um richtig abzuliefern. Und dann dem idealtypischen cis-male Dude mit Snapback die Crimetime überlässt, der gerade so gepackt hat vorm Auftritt seinen USB Stick zu exportieren. Ich kann mich total glücklich schätzen, dass ich (vor allem 90% FLINTA*)-Bookerinnen gefunden habe, die mir unabhängig von diesem Bullshit zutrauen richtig abzureißen. Und noch mehr auf eine super chillige Community, die mir z.T. absurd unausgeschlafen ewig lange Wege folgt um mich zu hören. Ihr seid total geil! <3

Was ist dir an einem Safer Space wichtig?
Die allgegenwärtige Frage für wen dieser Safe Space eigentlich sein soll. Und im weiteren Kontext der Versuch zu radikaler Empathie und annähernder Werturteilsfreiheit, um aus der eigenen Alltagsrolle entfliehen zu können, vielleicht sogar völlig neue Identitätsaspekte des Selbst entdecken zu können. Das wär voll schön.

Surreal. That's the only word my still speechless brain can come up with for this blissful afternoon at Bella Vista 2025. After 2 days of regular white-outs, the sun peaked out between the mountains just in time to warm up faces, hearts and feet while dancing at 2800m with an epic view of the Alps. Float along to some groovy, melodic and organic beats.

On a personal note: This was a winter revival of my very first DJ set, also played in the Alps. So so grateful for such opportunities thanks to Kollektiv Milchstrasse <3.

3 QUESTIONS TO BRITTA ARNOLD:

Q: As the festival summer is already gone now: which was the biggest „night to remember“ for you?

 A: I had a lot of big nights. For example the Fusion Festival as I played on the main stage („Turmbuehne“) and it was so amazing! Still getting goosebumps when I think back on it. And for sure the Garbizc Festival in Poland was a highlight too aswell as the Kater birthday at KaterBlau Berlin. I really had a perfect festival summer with crazy nights and days.


Q: Which was the track that inspired you most the past years?

A: Oh there were so many great tracks from great artists. Denis Horvat is one of the best for me. Actually I love all of his productions, especially „Flawless“ and „Cedevita“. Also I´m a big fan of the productions from Sascha Cawa and Marcus Meinhardt. 

Q: After having your latest single release on KaterMukke this year - what´s coming up next?

A: End of October 2015 there will be a Heinz Music Compilation and I’m proud to be a part of it. Also I finished an EP with Lee Jones and I´m working on a new Katermukke release with Sascha Cawa and Dirty Doering. Other tracks are finished too but I´m not sure yet where they will be released.
