Hijaz Landing
The title track pulses with dark, energetic momentum, weaving together techy grooves and hypnotic tribal percussion. Mysterious melodies float above, drawing on the evocative Hijaz scale, while the arrangement is electrified by fleeting, almost aerial sonic textures. The inspiration of the title comes from a sense of landing in a new ancient place, a sonic arrival guided by rhythm and ancestral echoes.

Champion
“Champion” flips the mood, bringing uplift and empowerment to the dance floor. Its euphoria swells atop a roaring bassline, with lush, melodic lines designed to fill listeners with strength and a sense of possibility. Naveen G’s productions range as far and wide as his DJ sets, and with a dynamic style and broad musical taste, he’s insured not to be confined to one particular genre: From minimal, to progressive and everything in between, Naveen is at home warming up a room or setting the dancefloor alight as the main course. Naveen G‘s career began in 1996 where he hosted his own radio show on WNUR 89.3FM Streetbeat Radio, and since then he has truly earned his place as one of America‘s longest standing DJs. Fast forward to today, and Naveen is involved with New York’s esteemed Cityfox crew alongside regular bookings at the city’s Output/Panther Room (where he regularly warms-up for their biggest headliners). He also hosts Darker Shades, a monthly radio show which he’s been running for over 15 years on Proton Radio.

Among a busy DJ career and working with Atish and Mark Slee as their A+R manager at record label Manjumassi, Naveen has stacked up an impressive list of credentials. His work has been supported by many of the world greats including Sasha, John Digweed and Hernan Cattaneo, and he has also supported a list of artists most DJs could only dream of, playing events featuring Danny Howells, Lee Burridge, Adriatque, Cassy, Dixon and many more.

Naveen has been in our sights for a while now, and in this podcast he’s managed to perfectly place a mammoth 27 tracks across 2 hours to present us with us with one of our deepest techno journeys yet. This is heady stuff. Switch of the lights and turn it up…

There is no doubt that Tim Engelhardt is considered one of the scene's most talented up-and-coming electronic music stars. If you need proof just have a look at his discography: He released his first track at the age of 14, and since then he has gone on to release over 20 singles and EPs before the age of 20 (he is currently 19 years of age).

It was the music of fellow Cologne resident Robert Babicz which inspired Tim’s journey into electronic music, and in a serendipitous twist of fate the revered engineer also took Tim under his wing, further inspiring Engelhardt to continue producing. All of his productions have a big emphasis on melody, and it’s this unique melodic sense he possess which has seen labels like Innervisions, Poker Flat, Traum Schallplatten and Babiczstyle all sign Tim Engelhardt tracks.

This Balance Selections mix drops just in time for his upcoming Australian tour which includes a highly anticipated slot at Strawberry Fields festival alongside acts like Sebastian Mullaert, Andrew Weatherall, Daniel Avery, Monkey Safari, Frankey & Sandrino.... you get the idea, it's a big lineup. Speaking Minds is the musical project of Italian DJ/Producer Simone Sinatti, active in the international music circuit from over a decade as DJ, programmer and A&R.
Started as a duo back in 2012 with former member Marco Paladin which leaded to releases on labels like AEON or My Favorite Robot Records, Simone embraced the solo road in 2017 and some new roads opened for Speaking Minds: after his ‘Jupiter Express’ released on Correspondant, he followed up with “Blue Days”, track included on WhoMadeWho’s compilation for Watergate Records. Year continued with his return to mother label AEON with an EP accompanied with remixes by Fort Romeau and Moscoman, premiered via BBC1 Radio and gaining huge support all over the world. 2021 sees Speaking Minds releasing an official remix for Telepopmusik's classic track "Breathe" on Virgin Records and his biggest discographic accomplishment so far: a track on brand new Laurent Garnier's label Cod3 QR. Recent times seen him busy releasing music on Leipzig based well respected Riotvan label and for the legendary Live at Robert Johnson imprint being part of their 25Y anniversary. 
After a decade spent collaborating with some of most renowned brands in the industry such as Circoloco or Lattexplus, he decided to focus more on his own projects and his career as booking manager for several clubs and parties including Apollo Club in Milan or his very own +39 series. Being in the game for quite a while, dj highlights includes shows at Robert Johnson, Circoloco, Sunday Sunday, Extrema Outdoor, Movement, Village Underground, Bar Americas, Oasis Festival, ADE, Watergate, Shelter, Cocorico and Off Sonar to name a few, sharing also the decks with some of the most respected djs of the globe including Laurent Garnier, Seth Troxler, The Blessed Madonna, Palms Trax, Ben Ufo, Job Jobse, WhoMadeWho, Bedouin, DJ Tennis, Gerd Janson, Bambounou, FJAAK, Pantha Du Prince, Miss Kittin and Marcellus Pittman. His music has been regularly supported by the likes of Laurent Garnier, Dixon, Ame, Job Jobse, Jennifer Cardini and Mano Le Tough among others.
