The Fumigation of La Luna is a poem by Albert Pellicer. It is a response to the events of fumigation with Glyphosate in the territory of indigenous people Kogui in La Sierra de Santa Marta Colombia. This chemical poisoned the land, the air, and threatened the health of the indigenous population. The fumigation targeted 'coca' plantations, sacred plant for the Kogui's traditions and health.  Kogui culture is one of the most sophisticated and peaceful precolombian cultures. Here you can read an article of this atrocity made on the name of the war on drugs. The war on drugs should be focus on the consume of cocaine by people in developed countries. It is a drug to act faster, produce faster, keep with the fast speed of life, keep running capitalism. Pain is built around the untreated voice of Lata Mani reading a chapter from her book, Interleaves. The piece recomposes the text as a sonic experience that sensorially explores and augments its rethinking of pain. Pain is a “musical” composition of generated sounds and field recordings of nature.
