Screamarts is a drum & bass producer from Salzburg, Austria, who has been making serious waves in the scene since starting to produce in 2012. 

Known primarily for his dark and melodic sound, 'The Prodigy EP' sees Screamarts subvert expectations further with four tracks packed full of broken funk and sonic depth. 

A welcome Dispatch Recordings debut from this talented producer, which sees him delve further into experimental territory, delivering an outstanding EP.

Well and truly thriving in his solo status, multi-instrumentalist DJ and producer Fred V swoops into 2021 with his two-track single ‘Icarus / Reaching Dawn (feat. Victoria Voss)’. Having carved his enchanting and uplifting niche on the drum & bass scene in 2020, Fred continues to mesmerise with new single ‘Icarus’, sending spirits soaring close to the sun. With his debut solo album on the horizon for the summer of 2021, it’s shaping up to be a special year for Fred V.

Warming pianos, futuristic synth work and euphoric vocal atmospherics ease ‘Icarus’ in before beaming into a crescendo which sees an electrifying reese bass paired powerfully with energising drums creating the ultimate dancefloor sonic masterpiece that will quickly establish itself as a staple powerhouse drum & bass anthem.

Teaming up with Stockholm-based singer and environmental scientist Victoria Voss, ‘Reaching Dawn’ is the embodiment of Fred V’s elevating sonic identity. Dreamlike vocals, cutting edge drum synthesis and enticing melodies instil a sense of ecstasy and hopefulness through the power of music.

We welcome Genic back to Dispatch for ‘The Bug’ / ‘Uncertainty’. Last seen on the label in 2019 the talented duo return with two tracks of the rolling, technical funk we love at Dispatch Recordings.

Sci-fi oscillations and a B-movie ethos run all the way through ‘The Bug’, a track that builds and layers into a paranoid stepper, revealing the monstrous rolling bass synth that gives this tune such impact.

Their quarter-century birthday commemorations raise the bar once again as a variety of sounds and styles come together for a 174BPM compilation like no other.

An instantly recognisable anthem to any drum & bass fan and an undeniable staple in the Hospital Records back catalogue, ‘Beautiful Lies’ by B-Complex gets the remix treatment from L-Side who’s been making moves with the V Recordings crew. The future meets a classic as minimal bouncing drum work and ripping bass stabs instil bursts of brand new energy into the track.

Expect a collision of sonic realms in Halogenix’s remix of Kings Of The Rollers’ infamous ‘Shella (feat. Chimpo)’. The hype around Fred V & Grafix is growing. Building on the success of the Goggles EP earlier this year, which contained the massive 'Games People Play', the dynamic duo from Devon return with 'Here With You'. Released on the 28th of October.

The second track on this EP "Minor Happy" shows a more delicate side to the duo, combining a gentle piano riff with glass like snares. A riposte to last years anthem "Major Happy", this track has already been picking up support from the likes of Sub Focus, so expect big things.

Sigma have announced their new single featuring Ella Henderson: ‘Glitterball’. The release follows the worldwide hits ‘Changing’ (featuring Paloma Faith), ’Higher’ (featuring Labrinth), and ‘Nobody To Love’, their first No.1 single that gained them two BRITs nominations.

Earlier this year, Sigma (aka Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie) unveiled their new live show in Australia and New Zealand, returning to the UK for a sold out debut live tour that hit London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Brighton. The pair also recently performed at this year’s BAFTAs, following December’s performances at the BBC Music Awards, and the Christmas Day edition of Top Of The Pops.

Currently in the midst of a riotous festival season, Sigma‘s forthcoming shows include Glastonbury, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Hideout, EDC, T In The Park, Creamfields, Pukkelpop, V Festival, and many more, plus dates across the Ibiza season at Together at Amnesia, and Ibiza Rocks. 

Since the release of her debut, million-selling single ‘Ghost’, Ella Henderson has received two BRITs nominations for Best British Female and Best British Single, and seen her debut album ‘Chapter One’ hit No.1 in the UK and reach Platinum status. Fred V is heading straight into 2020, taking things above and beyond since his ‘Proximity’ EP with the latest chapter in his solo story, the ‘Distance’ EP. A widely revered soundsmith for futuristic drum & bass euphoria yet this four track EP also unleashes Fred V’s technical prowess for heavyweight club bangers, bittersweet twists and soaring vocal features from Vonné and Chelsea Watts.
