A “nu” name to the Viper roster, Nuaura first made waves with his debut single on the prestigious Follow The Sun Compilation with smooth and dynamic “Beautiful Dreamer”, hotly followed by the rave-ready jungle record “Ring The Alarm” on this year’s Annual 2021. The Manchurian producer has proven he’s one to watch, and is now gearing up for his single debut on the mighty Viper with “One More Time” and “Wherever You Go”.



First to bat is “One More Time”, an illustrious, elegant number with deep, enthralling vocals and soothing piano melodies that lure you in right from the start. While Nuarua masterfully crafts such a serene and welcoming intro, he slowly introduces much darker sounds, transforming the graceful opening into something much more sinister without ever losing the track’s distinctive and charming appeal. The juxtaposition of such airy melodies against the much more menacing basslines gives birth to a track you’ll want to listen to over and over again, a strong indicator of Nuaura’s talents.



The flipside of the single, “Wherever You Go”, is a much more energetic number, showcasing Nuaura’s take on dancefloor DnB, but still with a dark edge. Masterfully layering each element as the track progresses, Nuaura’s productions take you on a sonic journey, building anticipation in peaks and troughs and commanding your full attention from start to finish.



Thoughtful and provocative, both tracks demonstrate Nuaura’s innate songwriting ability, proving this rookie is more than just a force to be reckoned with. Catching Futurebound’s keen ears from day one, there is no doubt that big things are in store for Nuaura, as made evident with his debut single on the label.

‘H25PITAL’ embarks on a journey throughout the past, present and future of Hospital Records, featuring the likes of Dillinja, S.P.Y, Flava D, DJ Marky, Unglued, Makoto, Loxy & Ink, Mitekiss, Nookie and more. Their quarter-century birthday commemorations raise the bar once again as a variety of sounds and styles come together for a 174BPM compilation like no other.

DRS & Dynamite, two legends who have taken the scene by storm with their collaborative outfit, team up with Logistics for a new-wave remix of the 2009 heater ‘Jungle Music’. Wordsmiths by nature, DRS & Dynamite lay down carefully crafted bars paying homage to their love for jungle and its roots over Logistics’ revamped instrumental.

Stepping up for remix duties on Danny Byrd’s iconic ‘Salute (feat. MC GQ)’ is none other than the king of the amen, Remarc offering his clear cut production skill. Breaks processed to perfection and an unruly bassline are fused flawlessly with elements of the original, including the nostalgia-inducing horns and illustrious vocals of drum & bass veteran GQ.

An instantly recognisable anthem to any drum & bass fan and an undeniable staple in the Hospital Records back catalogue, ‘Beautiful Lies’ by B-Complex gets the remix treatment from L-Side who’s been making moves with the V Recordings crew. The future meets a classic as minimal bouncing drum work and ripping bass stabs instil bursts of brand new energy into the track.

Expect a collision of sonic realms in Halogenix’s remix of Kings Of The Rollers’ infamous ‘Shella (feat. Chimpo)’. Flying the flag for the Critical Music family, Halogenix’s 2021 rendition which has been generating excitement from corner to corner in the world of drum & bass for some time now unleashes an absolute growler of a bassline as Manchester’s very own Chimpo dominates the topline.

The highly sought after VIP of Metrik’s ‘Cadence (feat. Reija Lee)’ is finally seeing the light of day. Dreamlike synthesis and ravishing vocals build a picturesque soundscape which soon evolves into Metrik’s signature high-octane flow as he delivers cutting-edge dancefloor vibes.

England born, New Zealand resident Maxwell Sweeney has been making music over the last 10 years in a range of genres and styles, under a few different aliases. He first came to our attention with some impressive demos that culminated in his first 2 track single on Soulvent titled ‘Vector’ back in 2017. Since then, Max has not wasted a second, racking up 5 standalone releases on our own imprint as well as releases across Terra Firma, Fokuz Recordings, Shogun Audio and more. In 2020 he started his own label ‘Music Monika’ to house some of his own material and he also began releasing music as a duo, with his good friend American producer & cat enthusiast Akuratyde. However, when ‘Fly To You’ landed in our inbox, it was clear this was a one-way-ticket to the stratosphere. 

‘Fly To You’ is a beautifully crafted roller of a track, opening with a bubbling sequenced synthesizer and a moody tambourine which are quickly joined by a tight jungle break and a gorgeous Goldie-esque vocal. The pounding bassline and myriad of other pleasing bass elements  throughout the track are only matched by the viscerally progressive percussive work. 

Set for release on the 16th of July, we strongly recommend that both frequent fliers and first timers alike set their body clocks to acclimatise to this absolutely aerodynamic release.

Having already debuted on the Dispatch Recordings imprint, duo Genic are set to release their biggest project on the label yet. The likes of Xtrah, DJ Hype (with Genic having previously released on the seminal Playaz through their collaboration), Doc Scott, Noisia, Rene LaVice and Ant TC1 (Dispatch’s label head) have been spinning Genic’s records throughout their quick ascent, with their debut ‘Rough Nights’ album sure to gain the same support and notoriety.

Playing at mainstay clubs such as Le Bikini, alongside some of the most influential names in bass music, they’ve also become a favourite amongst drum & bass listeners and as a result news around their forthcoming album has whet fan’s appetites. Their forthcoming album features an array of influences, from Dnb, Techno, Classic and UK Hip Hop to Reggae, with their tenacity obvious from the LP’s beginning to end. Marked by a forthcoming sampler, which includes digital exclusive ‘Disposal’, as well as album track ‘Grow’, ‘Rough Nights’ is proving to be one of their most expansive musical exploits to date.

The lush bass tones of ‘Grow’ opens the album following its inclusion on its sampler, meanwhile the more robotic chimes of ‘Think’ continues the journey. Long-time Dispatch roster members Philth and Wreckless present themselves alongside Genic for ‘Radiation’ up next, as ‘The Cycle’ keeps the LP broodingly ominous. The breaks of ‘Bring it’ and title track ‘Rough Nights’ with its softer underbelly sit midway on the tracklist, whilst ‘Oreo’, ‘Sore Throat’ and ‘Lulling Over’ draws the curtains whilst exposing three more explosively subterranean selections.

It’s the next album to be dropped on Dispatch Recordings and it highlights their ability to give artists creative freedom as well as the platform they deserve. Genic are the next producers to receive the label’s seal-of-approval and the quality of their ‘Rough Nights’ album signposts why this is.
