at dawn on Sunday, Alfonso treated us to 4 hours of music, mingling dub techno and minimal, all slowed down and jammed on vinyl.

"When I arrived at the stage, the sun hadn't risen yet. Mine was the first performance on @klapenunsen stage, and the music from the other stage was still playing in the background. It was a cold morning, and I thought there wouldn't be many people at the beginning, but It was a pleasant surprise when, after the main stage last performance ended, a large crowd gathered and filled the stage even before my music started. 

I performed a minimal dubby techno set, playing both current tracks and classics of the genre. Although I didn’t feel entirely comfortable in the beginning of the set, when I saw people dancing with smiles on their faces, it all made sense. It was a very special moment, and later, when the set ended, it was incredible to have people coming up to talk to me, excited about the performance. It was beautiful preparing a set like this and seeing how the crowd responded to the vibe while the sun rose in that wonderful landscape."

Sounds From NoWhere is pleased to premiere a new Sonic Wave Collective' track remixed by Forest On Stasys on 'Arketip Discs'.

Arketip Discs is a Barcelona-based vinyl and digital imprint co-founded by Spear and Makuto that has featured music by Reeko, Truncate, Temudo, ORBE, and Eduardo De La Calle.

After the memorable performance at Mostra festival, the electronic music group Sonic Wave Collective aka SWC, formed by the producers ABSIS, Cyklos and Spear, release their first vinyl record for Arketip Discs. 
SWC introduce a new avant-garde voice to the underground scene, weaving a mesmeric narrative that combines textures of introspective and refined techno with a very personal style.

This debut features six cuts that reveal the trio's diversity of influences and sonic sophistication.

Forest on Stasys is a renowned Argentinian artist who not only runs Aura Sonora, and is Co-Founder of Danza Nativa, but has released music on Claudio PRC's 012, Harmony Rec, and Fur:ther Sessions amongst others.

Beginning with "Kinetic Echoes," a track that takes a classic approach, embodying the introspective essence of techno, with a solid and meticulously crafted structure that evokes depth without explicit nostalgia.

"Resilience" follows, and is the most energetic cut of the disc, which fluidly combines elements of dub and techno to create a track full of groove and a captivating rhythmic impulse.

"Shared Textures" is a reduced composition that unfolds with a constant but relentless pulse, weaving a subtly enigmatic atmosphere.

The fourth original track is titled "Arise," and it's an immersive and elegant piece, with delicate touches that drag the listener through complex layers of sound.

"Arise (Forest on Stasys Tribal Remix)" gets the first reimagining with this version, introducing elements of tribal and minimal techno, adding organic percussion and primitive rhythmic intensity to the original.

"Arise (Forest on Stasys Remix)" This midtime interpretation slows down the pace, enveloping the track with a more dense and atmospheric presence, while maintaining the captivating appeal of the original.

SWC offers a cohesive record full of nuances, which transitions between serenity and intensity, maintaining exceptional sound quality throughout the journey.

This debut album is available on vinyl, underscoring the project's commitment to the physical and collectible aspects of electronic music culture.

Known for his commitment to emerging talent and high-quality productions, Arketip takes a step forward with this release, amplifying a new voice within the local and international techno scenes.

Growing up in a family strongly connected to electronic music, he was exposed to a wide range of styles, giving him the freedom to explore and develop his own musical style.

His sets flow effortlessly between genres, bringing hypnotic percussion, deep synth textures, and evolving soundscapes together into something truly special. This live set is a perfect example of that – full of energy, depth, and emotion.

Podcast 064 - ILAYRUNI [live]

We’re two weeks away from Mostra 2025. Final prep is in full swing, and over here at Delayed, we’re marking the moment with a special one. A two-hour recording from ABSIS—Mostra resident, local legend, and someone who’s been quietly shaping his own corner of the scene for years.

This one’s from Gare Porto, aka the Portuguese tunnel—one of those rare venues where the setting does half the work. ABSIS played alongside Nico and André Cascais for one of the recent Extramostra nights, and what came out of it is something else. A deep, locked-in ride that doesn’t bother with the usual build-and-drop patterns. It’s not about reaching some peak moment—it’s about staying in the zone and letting things unfold naturally. This set is pure spiral techno—deep, hypnotic, and tunnel-vision tight. It moves with that kind of quiet intensity that sneaks up on you. No flash, no filler. Just steady pressure and perfectly measured pacing. Like being pulled along some underground Iberian rail line, eyes closed, body moving on instinct. ABSIS keeps full control from start to finish, guiding the whole thing with an ease that only comes from time and taste.

You can feel the room in the recording—the acoustics of the tunnel, the crowd syncing up, that low-end weight that holds everything together. It’s a full-on experience, even in playback. There’s something about this set that sticks with you. The way it just moves—no big drama, no gimmicks, just pure direction and control. It’s the kind of mix that makes you wish you were there… and also kind of convinces you that you were.

ABSIS doesn’t overstate anything. He doesn’t have to. He locks into a mood and stays there, pulling everyone in with him. And if this set from Gare Porto is any sign of what’s coming—then that closing slot at Vall d’Hebron is going to be serious.

With his latest solo album Quiet Pieces initiating his imprint Soft Echoes, Abul Mogard mixes composers and collaborators that have permeated his discography and inspirations. An impeccable sense of flow and continuity defines these selections, as Mogard says: "I imagined this mix as an atmosphere you could inhabit – a quiet weave of pieces I’m drawn to. It’s a sound collage of old and new music, where tracks meet and overlap gently, carrying you along in a flow while subtly shifting the scenery beneath your feet." From groaning ambience to trilling winds and warm washes of glitching noise comes a frisson of flutes on Stefano Pilia’s ‘CADUX / Plectere’ over an all consuming rumbling bass drone. Mogard highlights vocals in the midsection: the hissing of ‘Anticredos’, Meredith monk’s harmonic conterplay with arrays of pointillist vocal notes, Félicia Atkinson’s spoken word barely rising from its quietude, before brewing a dense buzzing electrical storm of swirling currents and gyres with the final few tracks, the rugged and visceral clockwork of Rafael Anton Irisarri mechanically crumbling as William Basinski’s piano notes eternally intone.

Aura Sonora returns with a second release to follow up the fantastic first one, this time it brings together two meticulous studio craftsmen, DYL & Tammo Hesselink. Their Moire Patterns EP kicks off with 'Pattern 1', a deep and rhythmic slice of rubbery techno that rides broken beats with atmospheric pulses up top. 'Pattern 2 slows down to a predatory crawl with icy pads making  a dystopian vibe then 'Pattern 3' brings a sense of mystic tribal ritual deep in some futuristic jungle and 'Pattern 4' closes down with more fantastically crafted, dubby, broken rhythms that are topped with organic percussion and almost impossible not to move to. Pure rhythm science brilliance.

Puntalaberinto (@puntalaberinto) is a sound artist working at the intersection of modular synths, field recordings, DIY/DIWO instrument building, and research into the use of natural elements within electronic music. The modular synthesizer is her main tool, filtering and reshaping geophonies, biophonies, and anthrophonies to create immersive soundscapes, organic textures, deep drones, powerful low-end, and subtle echoes of dub. Her live performances invite a physical and introspective listening experience, diverging from conventional narratives to reveal a crack of strange nature. She is a member of Arquea Collective, where she explores the hybrid space between sound creation, visual art, and biology through expanded cinema formats. Puntalaberinto is also co-founder of ODD — One Drone Day, an immersive festival dedicated to twelve continuous hours of live drone and ambient music, designed for deep, psychoacoustic listening within a quadraphonic sound space.

One of techno’s true underground heroes, Function steps in with a mix that captures the essence of his club sound: deep, dark, hypnotic and intensely layered. Cerebral yet physical, this set distills over 30 years of experience into a rolling trip that’s as uncompromising as it is immersive.

Recorded in Berlin with a Xone 96, with Function’s signature sound design woven throughout, the mix bridges heavyweight classics and future-shaping material. Kicking off with Nastia Reigel’s massive new remix of his own Disaffected, it showcases three tracks from her upcoming debut album Identity (out September 26 on Infrastructure).

The selection runs wide: from Regis, Rødhâd, LSD, Nørbak, Nastia Reigel, Ignez, Rene Wise, Silent Servant, Alarico and UFO95 to unreleased gems by Filippo Scorcucchi - alongside Function’s own productions, edits and textures. The result is a hypnotic, high-pressure session built for the club’s inner core, designed for maximum immersion and intensity.

Forest Drive West, Felix K and DB1 are LEVL. Together, they explore the murky territory between drum & bass, techno and experimental electronics, crafting a distinctive sound that defies the boundaries of genre. The trio's collaboration began with DB1 and Forest Drive West putting out music through Berlin-based Felix K’s label Hidden Hawaii, which led to the formation of LEVL: a combination of each artist’s unique production approach that creates a cohesive and innovative sound. 

LEVL's debut release, “LEVL#1”, was issued in 2019 on Arcola, a sub-label of Warp Records, a bass- and breaks-heavy record showcasing their ability to blend ambient textures with complex rhythms. “LEVL#2”, on Felix K's Nullpunkt label, further explores the intersection of ambient, drum & bass and techno.

Beyond their recorded output, LEVL brings a strong energy to live performances, delivering an immersive and genre-bending musical experience. With meticulous attention to detail, the group pushes the boundaries of electronic music through soundscapes that challenge and captivate listeners.
