We've got another Psy-born-earptical-illusion-swamp-lathern mix for you! I don't think spotify wrapped bots could come up with that sentence... maybe next year? :( anyway enough about those evil lil guys and more onto this absolutely sweet mix from Montreals slug enchanter, Kiju. 

Sludgy IDM, Ethereal half-time jungle so downtempo the sofas gonna eat you up.
Wonky-daydream-percussion-heavy excursions into triphop dimensions. Genres so blurred and bass so chunky your brains gonna vibrate in that lovely head of yours. 
The mix, from a live set, we wish we were there for is a consistent sultry en-trance-ment of light and darkness. Stoked to add it to the series.  Here are some words from Kiju about it:

Seoul-born and currently loving in Tio'tia:ke/Montréal, kiju has been tirelessly involved in her city’s DIY circuit since the tail end of the pandemic as a DJ, rave organizer, and dancefloor specialist. Behind the decks, kiju has been noticed for her genre-spanning range, from swampy slo-mo to hypnotic uptempo, that focuses on finding the groove through more subtle rhythms and textures.

“Here, I present to you a my closing set from exposé noir’s vol x, in the chillout room, six floors up from the main stage. I hope you can feel the feeling that was in that room from this recording. I heard that it felt tribal, and sexy. I was playing on the floor, pulsing to the beat on my knees. There was a really good amount of fog, and many dancers were crowding in a circle around the booth as if the music were some source of heat.”
