Deep baselines and thundering bottom ends combine as dub, tribal, world, funk, hip-hop, and techy elements infuse her music. Dela’s sets are a lyrical and psychedelic experience that reflect her resolute positivity and energy for life.  This extended mix features a heavy dose of bass in realms of half time/drum and bass, which was played at November moontribe, and re-recorded for Through the Streets. She is a resident dj and organizer of Southern California’s legendary Moontribe Collective. Since 1993, Moontribe’s full moon desert gatherings have been at the core of Southern California’s underground electronic music scene.  She also has a collaborative bass music project called Trikaya with Brian Saitzyk (a.k.a. Eastern Sun).  She has recently played huge sets at such festivals as Outlook Festival in Croatia, Shambhala Music Festival in British Columbia, Utopia (Boom afterparty in Portugal), Firefly Gathering, Lightning in a Bottle, EDC Las Vegas, Rainbow Serpent in Australia, and The Great Convergence in Egypt. dela has provided direct support for names such as Desert Dwellers, Thriftworks, Mr. Bill, Kalya Scintilla, G Jones, Phutureprimitive and countless others.

What is music, and where does it come from? It flows inside of us like a river running from nowhere..it can move your soul in a way that nothing else can..and the Magician(musician)can make their magic to take us even as close to the outer realms of the afterlife and beyond. Animals and nature respond to the tones and vibrations. We bend air and paint with sound..manifesting the music as its own entity..at times the music becomes so powerful in the midst of this process, that it takes over the individuals creating it, and it is no longer "theirs" they are merely receiving energy from somewhere else beyond them and transforming it into this perceivable reality..much like the way the instruments they play do....could it be we are but special vessels channeling this cosmic energy..influenced by another outside vibration in a different dimension.
