Directed by Ben Barnes, the entire story is peformed by actor Andrew Bennett (An Cailín Ciúin - The Quiet Girl) with original music composed and played by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Eleanor McEvoy (A Woman’s Heart).

Nominated for the Booker Prize 2022, this deeply moving tale is set in a rural Irish town in the 1980s. As coal merchant Bill Furlong does his rounds in the run up to Christmas, he discovers a girl locked away in terrible conditions in the local convent. Unlike the silent majority, he decides to do something about it.
