Techno 🎧💀

Ringing the alarm with March's podcast is musician Clara Cuvé (@claracuve). Piercing right through these desolate days like a point 50 caliber bullet.

Clara Cuvé does not relinquish pace nor energy. Her roots go back to the classical piano in which she was trained since the age of four. Clara's deep love of music naturally leads her to accumulate a record collection throughout the years, which she deploys during her energetic sets ranging from fast and groovy Techno to Breakbeat, Jungle and Hardcore, always focusing on groove and dynamics.

After becoming part of the Munich label Stock5 (@stock5) and their monthly event series at Rote Sonne (@rotesonne), she made her way to Berlin, where she became a resident for the infamous event series Mess that took place at OHM and started touring all over the world. In 2020 she released her debut track "Control "on Kobosil's (@kobosil)  R-Label Group's first compilation "Sektion 1 ", a hard pounding Techno banger with a haunting voice and mesmerizing synth line.

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from DMCG. The Berlin-based DJ founded the label Concrete Berlin in 2018 and since then the group has hosted parties, podcasts and more. DMCG brings a hard hitting style to the floor, mixing industrial, techno, trance, shranz and just about everything in the 148-160 range. Since relocating from Perth he's risen up through the ranks as a DJ, showcasing a firm understanding of the blend between emotional and destructive dance-floor tracks. This understanding has filtered over into Tred's impressive production style, with his recent release on 1Ø PILLS MATE strongly highlighting this.

I like to call this mix ‘Speed to Saturn’ - a sci-fi vision of what music will be playing as you travel in a Hyper Speed portal to a rave on Saturn, to escape a desolate and dystopian Planet Earth. The mix is a representation of what my friends and I have been experiencing and dancing to during the pandemic in Scotland. Currently our city of Glasgow has been in a depressing 9 months of lockdown, the longest in the UK - which we have been escaping through means of listening to futuristic Hard Trance and Hard Techno. We all live near the bridge in the picture - which on certain weekend nights looks like another planet, glimmering in the distance.

Svar was resident at the infamous Mixed Munich Arts Club before it closed down. There he continuously developed his style of DJing characterized by a varied selection of different styles and moods, drifting and trippy soundscapes and always full of tension throughout. Together with his good friend Javier Bähr he also started Rohstoff, which functions as an ambient tape label and also a monthly radio show on Munich’s Radio80000. Svar moved to Berlin sometime in 2019 where he is planning further exciting musical projects. Stay tuned! This podcast is a recording of an opening set he played at legendary Tresor Club in 2019. An Allen & Heath Xone:92 Mixer, 2 Technics SL-1210 turntables and 3 CDJ-2000NXS2 were used that night.
