Balku is a Portuguese music producer with deep roots in the psychedelic realm. Raised in a family of artists, he was immersed from an early age in music, and alternative culture. Naturally drawn to sonic experimentation, he found his voice in the raw, hypnotic energy of dark psychedelic trance.
By 22, he was already performing live and independently released his debut EP, Evil Lord. Now, at just 24, Balku has played at some of Portugal’s biggest psychedelic raves, gaining recognition for his immersive and emotionally charged sound.
In 2024, he joined the renowned label Transubtil Records, where he's preparing his next release—pushing his music even further into new and powerful territory. With deep basslines, shadowy textures, and atmospheric layers, Balku’s sound is more than rhythm, it’s ritual. A journey into the subconscious, crafted to stir the soul and expand perception.
In 2025, he launched a new project with his label partner Opsurrus, called Default Mode. Focused on faster, more digital sounds, it explores BPMs between 165 and 180—delivering intense and electrifying journeys, while keeping the deep, immersive energy that defines his music.

Gustavo Alfaro is the mind behind the Centurio Senex project. Based in San Jose, Costa Rica from a very early age has shown great interest and passion for various types of music, which also has led him to explore it from its most extreme variants like Metal, Punk, Grindcore and many more. 

Between 2018 and 2019 he discovered Psychedelic Trance, being totally hooked to the sound of this music and after attending a couple of parties and listening to differents types of sonic landscapes from this genre he started to have the feeling to share and spread these sounds around and decided to start his DJ project.

Centurio Senex, stands out for a selection between Forest and Darkpsy where it predominates the use of low tones with organic sounds and continuous twisted fat basslines, with the intention to induce a deep trance that allow the listener to reach places beyond the ordinary experience in the depths of their own subconscious mind.
