After some time of producing, Cactus Arising is presenting his second EP with four remixes of GOA Trance producers which are all friends & family.

Most of the tracks are written with analog equipment. 

First of all  Radical Distortion – The Dreamer all the synth lines and all the track is written by analog synths, accompinied with some VA synths. My main goal was to reproduce the original atmosphere of the track. I want to thank both Nick & John for this opportunity to remix one of their tracks, and for my taste one of their best. Thank also Nick Polytarides for all the help provided in the modular synthesizers.

Next is coming the remix to Fiery Dawn – Mahakala which is the last from the mix of the analogue equipment and the usage of VST together. This remix was the first that i have tried some new analogue synths and you can hear it as acid lines in the mix.

Innerzone & Soectrum remixes was the starting of the new music area which is mainly by analogue synths, and some samples for the drums.

Spectrum remix is one of my favourite track to close my live set. It is full of energy and the melodies written by John are brilliant.

I want to thanks a lot all of the above artists for trusting me doing remix of their tracks. Also i want to thanks Timewarp and Nova Fractal for the opportunity to release those tracks.

And finally in the thans area is my friend George Deligiannis 'Cydelix' for the breliant mastering of the ep.

Also i want to thanks Chrysa & my friends for being patient in all those years of listening my tracks and make improvements.

Next stop will be a second album with a lot of different sound than the first one. More GOA old school oriented.

Radzy is a Psychedelic Trance Artiste & Promoter from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is the co-founder and organizer of Epic Tribe, Malaysia"s psychedelic trance collective family that has been promoting and hosting psychedelic trance culture music & arts in Kuala Lumpur since early 2007. Radzy is the co-organizer and cofounder of Belantara Gathering, Malaysia"s annual international psychedelic culture , music & arts festival. 

Till recently Radzy is part of the BMSS Records as label DJ/Artiste. 

As a DJ , Radzy has played extensively in many gatherings & festivals around the globe, in Japan , China , Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Goa , Lebanon , Indonesia , Germany , Italy , Spain , Netherlands , Hungary , Switzerland & all over Europe. 

Radzy has been described to have a versatile day or night time style with always a full dose of crystal clean psychedelic sound in his mix, but always keeping it original with a truly Malaysian style.

RADZY - Samaa Records Guest Mix Series (Vol.6)

In late 2000 Spectrum were given birth in the context of melodic trance.
The first attempts were made using a freeware version of Anvil Studio.
A bit later they purchased MadTracker as well as the sample CD Mazzive Injection.
The sources also consisted of samples distributed over websites such as analogsamples and custom samplepacks circulated between producers.     
Until 2005 they succeeded several releases (DR Recordings, Sunrain recs, FREEZE mgzn) that belong to the initial phase of the group.

Between the aforementioned period and the era of digital labels, the album titled "Spectrum" was self-printed and distributed (2006).
The following years, Spectrum presented a different sound as the aftermath of the transition from trackers to sequencers and the addition of hardware synthesizers.
The project kept growing and experimenting in that context.

During the mid-2010's, the focus naturally shifted to a hybrid style of oldschool goa.
The melody became less prominent or transformed into a river of layered melodies.
The real fun has just began...
