@Marie_Julie is a vinyl only dj and a true vinyl aficionada. Known for her regular sets at Brussels’ iconic Fuse Club and a busy gig schedule across Belgium, she’s also graced the decks at Amsterdam’s De School, Berlin’s Tresor and Paris’ Spectrum Waves, making waves internationally.
Marie-Julie made a name for herself with her outstanding track selection and carefully crafted sets with deep takes, groovy parts, exhilarating heights and contemplating ends.

His mix of cerebral wares and shape-shifting, industrial-informed machine talk takes us straight back to the heyday of raving, when the sound we all love was not just a merchandise, but meant a whole new perspective on the world as we knew it.

At the intersection of techno's industrial past and its avant-garde future stands Phase Fatale, the Berlin-based project of Hayden Payne. A resident at both Berghain and KHIDI, Payne channels his roots in New York's post-punk and EBM scenes into a sound that's precisely engineered for the deepest corners of the dancefloor. 

Since emerging in 2014, Phase Fatale has been pivotal in reshaping the contours of modern techno. His releases on labels like Ostgut Ton, Jealous God, and Hospital Productions showcase a commitment to sonic exploration, blending dense atmospheres with rhythmic precision. His 2020 album, Scanning Backwards, was specifically engineered for Berghain's acoustics, reflecting his deep connection to the club's sonic environment.

Beyond his productions, Payne co-founded the BITE label in 2018, aiming to platform artists operating outside conventional techno paradigms. With a roster that includes both emerging talents and established names, BITE has become a beacon for those seeking the fringes of electronic music

Hailing from Santiago de Chile, eclectic talent Marcelo Antonio is a formidable voice for deep, mind-bending techno. Since 2018 the DJ/Producer has been putting out a growing number of releases on labels like Float, Keyhole, Methodical, Antiterra, EVOD Music, and delivered killer sets across his native Chile and Europe, honing a class of sound that’s full-bodied, deep and geared for marathon raves. His self-published work via Bandcamp-only outlet Out of Sight too, offers a further glimpse into his intimate studio workings: high-concept and movement driven tracks that foment rhythmic contemplation. His frequent collaborators include widely recognised industry staples like Kwartz, DVS1, Kr!z, Ruben Ganev, TWR72, Border One, Biri and Samuli Kempi, a sounding board comprised of peers that share in his passion for primal loops. It’s an elegant techno that layers up textures and builds up tension second by second, and steers its bow towards a distant and euphoric horizon. This master of mood is here with a number that’ll push your body and mind to the limit, liminal techno that hypnotises and fringes the frontier of techno. Founded in 2017 by David Le Naour and Léa Occhi, Spectrum Waves was born from a deep desire: to create a new space for expression, gathering, and experimentation within the LGBTQIA+ community. Rooted in electronic music culture, the collective offers a sanctuary of inclusivity, free expression, aiming to host events where everyone feels safe and welcome.

These events, crafted in an immersive, dreamlike atmosphere, are a true celebration of queer culture. A space where everyone can be their most authentic self. It’s not just about the music; it’s an invitation to dance, express, and honor the diversity of identities and experiences.

Since its creation, Spectrum Waves has established its home at La Station – Gare des Mines. All events push boundaries, blending art, lighting, live performances, and energetic sets. With a lineup spotlighting both emerging and recognized artists, we cultivate a range of electronic sound that is subtle, rhythmic, and mentally engaging.

Equality and diversity are at the heart of our approach. We emphasize gender parity and shine a spotlight on women in the electronic music scene. Moreover, the collective supports essential causes such as LGBTQIA+ rights, migrant assistance, and environmental preservation by donating part of each event's proceeds to various organizations.
