That's the definition of Speechmaker and the message he wants to get across : a no-holds-barred mix of styles through a dystopian incursion.
Varying rhythms and genres with raw mechanics to escape for a moment and free the mind.
He is also co-founder of Ethos Records label with Eenrdacht (ÖND, Armen Crew, Space Molotov), and they have a monthly radioshow, Oratio.

Bodañ with Speechmaker - 06/11/2024

I'm delighted to be back with you for this 3rd Bodañ show, where I have the honour of having @officiumofficium as my first guest !
In the next hour, you'll hear part of the Dj set he played at the Meta in Marseille on November the 23rd , specially recorded and shortened for Bodañ. 

Officium is the result of several years of exploration and transformation. Over time, the project has shaped and merged various materials and influences, eventually becoming a true perpetual movement, a quest that challenges labels and transcends genres. Each creation is part of this intimate and universal process: a collection of samples and sound research, Cut-Ups that take us deep into inner visions, states between dream and reality, and buried memories.
It was with Lazybones, released in April 2023 on the Teenage Menopause label, that Officium dropped his first solo album under this alias, with the collaboration of Catherine Danger.
To continue the journey, a remix compilation was just released in November 2024. This VA (Various Artists) offers a bold reimagining of Lazybones, the result of long discussions and genuine sharing with his friends and musical influences. The outcome: 18 tracks where each artist has reinterpreted the original pieces by revisiting, deconstructing, sanding, or transforming them in their own way. This collective project breathes new life into the album while staying true to its experimental spirit. A unique and captivating collective work.

"Quand Speechmaker m’a proposé de faire un podcast pour sa série de podcast Bodañ, je l’ai pris au mot et ai préparé cette histoire singulière, teintée de différentes ambiances musicales; un set hybride entre musique ambiant, bass, DnB, Dub et autres styles, sans limites.
Elle est, un peu comme le lever du soleil, le début de quelque chose de nouveau, une histoire ou une journée faite de rebondissements et de toutes les émotions qui nous traversent pendant celle-ci. Jusqu’à son coucher. ANOTHER WORLD IS POSSIBLE?" 

Vous pouvez aussi écouter Blanca Brusci sur Radio Sofa avec sa résidence Poetic Weapons, un terrain d’expression et d’expérimentation sur lequel elle traduit son envie de déployer des paysages sonores à la fois curieux et mélodieux.
En parallèle de ses podcasts musicaux, elle aime concevoir chaque représentation comme une nouvelle occasion de rassembler, écouter ou danser, et s’amuse à s’adapter à différents formats et à toujours proposer de nouvelles compositions, de jour comme de nuit.

‘When Speechmaker asked me to do a podcast for his Bodañ podcast series, I took him at his word and prepared this singular story, tinged with different musical moods; a hybrid set between ambient music, bass, DnB, Dub and other styles, with no limits.
It's a bit like sunrise, the start of something new, a story or a day made up of twists and turns and all the emotions that run through us during it. Until it sets. ANOTHER WORLD IS POSSIBLE? 

You can also listen to Blanca Brusci on Radio Sofa with her Poetic Weapons residency, a field of expression and experimentation in which she expresses her desire to unfold soundscapes that are both curious and melodious.
Alongside her musical podcasts, she likes to see each performance as a new opportunity to gather, listen or dance, and enjoys adapting to different formats and always coming up with new compositions, day or night.

CIAIC is an Italian DJ based in Paris. An insatiable digger for dance music’s murkiest depths, he draws inspiration from bass-heavy sounds, dub, and hypnotic rhythms to open a gateway for his imagination.
