HØLEIGH has been contributing to Manchester’s darker side of dance for several years, but began to surface in late 2019 which saw her transition to techno, electro and trance. Prior to this, Høleigh was collecting a broad range of UK dance styles, hardcore, hard house, trance and hard techno. Musical elements from these genres are echoed in her track selection. This evolution most likely accounts for the predilection of 145bpm+. Accelerating from start to finish and constantly shifting through the gears, Høleigh’s intuition when performing resonates with dancefloors and its punters, all of which stems from her dynamic and idiosyncratic way of mixing and using dj equipment innovatively, this hour long mix plays testament to what separates herself from others.

Høleigh has been consistently contributing to Manchester’s darker side of dance. A regular at Manchester promotional outfit Teletech has consolidated her foundations within the dance community, combined with frequent invites for mixes from the likes of Crude, Speedmaster records, HRA, Dreamphase, Underzone and others have propelled her across the British channel and into European capitals to share her meticulously engineered sound.

Intellectually selected grooves, basslines and emotion driven melodies bound together to produce coherent and forward thinking performances that have captured the attention of Ismus for their May Day event 2022 which puts Høleigh in control for a sensory experience.

Early on, Berlin-based DEV built his own path into the electronic music scene and managed to create his own musical style at the age of 20. In 2020, he founded one of the most modern and up-and-coming labels in the new trance movement, Extra Energy, together with his friend TRIS. Both his own productions and his DJ sets rely on emotive melodies as well as trippy and sexy sounds. The combination of trance, techno and its countless sub-genres gives DEV the possibility to create a mood that allows dancers to discovers the magic of music away from reality.

A: "LSG - Netherworld 2005 (Oliver Prime remix) - I will never forget the feeling of playing this for my Berlin debut early this year, it’s one of my favourite tracks of all time and this was a very special set to me. It was also the first time meeting friends that I had only spoken to through socials beforehand, it was incredibly wholesome to see them come to support and dance with me."

Following her insane set for us over the summer at TM8 Party #06, we are delighted to feature HØLEIGH on our podcast series. A prolific name on Manchester's techno circuit, HØLEIGH builds her sets with exquisitely-selected grooves, rumbling basslines and a touch of trance. Having made her well-due debut on @hoerberlin in October and played for parties like Teletech and @ismusberlin several times over, HØLEIGH’s schedule continues to grow by the minute.
